Sorry folks, but the camera stopped at the very end. But hope you enjoy the reaction .

We are actually looking forward to this film! What did you first think about this when you heard about it? Will you see it? High or low expectations?

Seeing 4 grown men watch a trailer about a Barbie movie cracks me up!

Trigon

Hi i just joined the patreon, when does how to train your dragon 2 get posted?

Christina

Ryan gosling in Crazy Stupid Love makes me laugh every single time. I hope that movie makes it way back onto another poll since it didn’t make it in the date night poll

Mintteacup

Will you guys check out the blue beetle trailer too?

Laur

I think it’s verrrrry intentional to not give us too much of the plot! I’m anticipating an innuendo-filled comedy with a lot of depth/twists to the story. Remember that Greta Gerwig is directing!

That one we wanted to stay away from and go in blind. 🤙We will definitely do a reaction for it here.

stephanie

love the reaction to all the pink 🤣

Jenna

Very high expectations, I think it will be fantastic!! I think the lack of plot in the teaser trailer is 100% intentional and that there’s a lot more to the plot than this shows. But I don’t want to…”spoil” with my theories, for lack of a better word. I was so excited to see y’all upload this and hope there is a movie reaction in the future!

Am curious - Question for patrons who played with Barbies as a child : In the trailer the Kens are always fighting, competing and challenging each other in some way. Is this an activity people would often make the Ken dolls do ( and this is being depicted in the film ) ?

Kunzite Blossom

Personally, I never did. I don't think I even ownd a Ken doll, unless the Aaron Carter doll counted (Not sure if its Barbie branded or not). Now this is just my experience, but in the two different area's I grew up, I remember girls always bringing their Barbie's to school to show them off in elementary school. I've seen girls make their Barbie's fight over typical girl stuff like clothes and shoes, but can't remember any Kens fighting.

Considering the animated barbie movie legends they okeyed over the years I am 0 surprised Mattel was ok with this :D and this will majorly serve the now adult barbie animated cinema universe fans that have grown up, as the brand of Barbie now survives as a collectible more than a toy. They added a lot of the old cartoons to netflix over the past few years and they saw a lot more success in the childless demographic than expected, which probably aided for them to decide to ok this.

As an older gen z-er, I used to make my male dolls fight with other non-Barbie action figures... or kiss each other.. HAHAHA
