The live action sucked so bad. No respect for the source material. Also, hoping you continue with Korra. The fans seem to be divided on it, but I think it's well worth the watch.

There's this writer on YT who did these analyses and video essays on Avatar. Two of his videos are on the Psychology of Zuko and Azula which are top notch. They're a bit long being about 54- 90 mins but they're great. If any of you guys would be interested in that his channel is hello future me.

you will never understand the emotional turmoil being a teenager online was at the time of this airring, I was such a hardcore Zutara shipper, it was the first fanfiction I ever read, I think me at 14 cried for a whole month at Aang and Katara ending up together instead of Zuko and Katara. I literally participated in a whole TP and egging houses battle at school between the 2 shipper factions of the time.

There is an interesting study on ATLA soundtrack on youtube I saw once, it is trully a masterpiece considering it was doen in half a day or so each time weekly without getting full storylines or episodes to see beforehand and at that time with that budget, I think it's some of the most iconic tv music ever done to date, the sounds are all so distinctive and wonderfully done.

The zuko azula fight you really felt how sad it was that their family history tore them apart. Great brother sister fight scene.

A perfect show, I don't think I've ever heard anyone say otherwise. My sister, Dad and I watched it when it came out when I was in middle school. We never missed an episode and I will never forget how magical the experience was. Also Netflix has been working on a live action show for the last few year, it has a bigger budget than Game of Thrones I believe. Everyone is holding their breath to see if they can pull it off!

Loved watching the series with you guys, I'm glad you got to finished it and kept with the commitment - which I really appreciate because there are so many of them.

The Avatar universe is unlike anything else out there. The wonderful use of Chinese martial arts to control the elements works so perfectly gor fight scenes and the story and lessons continue to be relevant and hold weight, and it's a cartoon! Now you guys can move on to the next Avatar, Korra, who i relate to so much!

This was my favorite show as a kid, and now 20 years later, now that I'm older and more mature, I love this show even more. I am so happy that you guys enjoyed this show as much as me. It truly makes me happy seeing other people share my feelings about a show that(was not only from my childhood) but WAS my childhood. Though, funnily enough, I only ever was able to catch reruns. Also, something cool, Not only did Jason Isaacs play Lucious Malfoy, voice Admiral Zhao, but he also voiced the Grand Inquisitor in Star Wars Rebels. Which until you guys pointed it out, I didn't realize it was Jason Isaacs.

I watch this show when it first came out. Me (9 at the time), my dad and brother (12) caught up with the show near the end of Season 2 and it became the show we watched together every week till the end. Easily the top 5 if not the best show that I have ever watched. Glad you all enjoyed it.
