This was an absolute blast! The movie is a visual feast, with breathtaking CGI landscapes and stunning action sequences that take place in both the real and virtual worlds. The references to pop culture of the 1980s and 1990s are numerous and will appeal to anyone who grew up during that time. The film's soundtrack is also filled with iconic songs from that era, which adds to the nostalgia factor.

The cast of the movie is excellent, with Tye Sheridan delivering a standout performance as Wade Watts. Olivia Cooke, who plays Art3mis, the female lead, is also fantastic, bringing depth and complexity to her character. The supporting cast, including Ben Mendelsohn as the villainous Nolan Sorrento and Mark Rylance as the OASIS's creator, James Halliday, are equally impressive. Overall, "Ready Player One" is an entertaining and visually stunning film that will delight fans of the book and newcomers alike. With its engaging story, talented cast, and dazzling visual effects, it is a must-see for anyone who loves science fiction, action, and adventure.

Literal 1 second, 1 shot cameo I just noticed for the first time. At the beginning of the movie when it's playing Hallidays obituary message 2 of the little girls crying are the actress's that play young Theo and young Shirley in Haunting of Hill House!!!! Also, the actress that plays Samantha (Art3mis) plays Alicent Hightower in House of the Dragon

If you guys want a follow-up to Roger Rabbit, Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers from 2022 is a must watch.

The only thing I like better about the book is that they explain why all the 80s references are there, I mean you can glean it from the premise of the movie, but in the book, everyone was so obsessed with finding the clues to finish Haliday’s game that the entire world went into 80’s mode, from movies to games to music, hence why everyone in the movie seems to know a lot about old Atari games and old movies like buckaroo banzai, even though it takes place 60 years later. The movie is better in every way except for this explanation.

Maybe I’m mistaken but the oak mentioned Avatar- (I’m assuming blue ppl one directed by James Cameron) would y’all consider reacting to avatar 1 and 2? I know everyone won’t vote for avatar if it did come up in a poll, but i know the answer and Mason would love it very much both 1 and 2! begging to see it😭💙
