Here we go... Bly Manor time. Good first opening. Great to see the cast again. Good story build here in the first episode. Those kids.... going to be interesting to see what part of the puzzle they play in as we go here. Overall, good first episode.

You guys should do the whole flanaverse, mike Flanagan series in Netflix, since you already saw hill house and now bly manor, you could do his other series as well. I haven’t seen the other ones so it would be fun to see it along with you guys for the first time as well.

Oh Boy! I put off watching this ahead of time, I think I made a mistake. I am so freaked out.. at 9:30am.. I am only gonna watch these reactions in the mornings. I did notice right away the same music from Hill House and it DID NOT put me at ease. Great Reaction Guys. Thank You.

So hyped for this! Also, if you do wind up watching Midnight Mass- it's standalone, and not part of the Haunting Anthology, and a little bit different ( especially in the way it is shot) so as a tip for Midnight Mass- there are no hidden ghosts per se, so don't waste time looking for those then, just pay attention to the dialogues ;) Totally get why you did it here though, I was the same way when I first watched it after getting a hidden jump scare in Hill House :D

I also immediately recognised the music from Hill House. Good catch. Can't wait to watch with you Midnight Mass. Also, I'm not sure if you read my comment on your preview post from March 13th, but I highly recommend the TV show "Justified". Would be great to see you react to this amazing series some day.😊

I’m my humble opinion I think this series is fun but the weakest of the Flanagan trilogy. I’m excited for midnight Mass if u guys do it

Don't expect this show to be anything like Hill House. There are similarities but its different show

I love this show! It’s very different than Hill House, so just keep that in mind and you may love it too

The craziest thing to me about this episode that leaves me dumbfunded every single time I watch it, is the acting of Carla Gugino. There's a shot of her a few seconds long during the dinner rehearsal, and in just a few micro movements of her face, and she tells a whole story that immediately tells you something is wrong. It's just crazy.

Just to clarify = the parents are dead. Henry Thomas is playing their uncle :D Just like Hill House was based on literature, this one is loosely based on Turn of the Screw, a 19th cent ghost novel.
