I don't know if anyone else has pointed it out, but when Zuko visits Iroh in prison, they do something particularly interesting with the art. Even though Iroh is physically behind bars, they make it look as though Zuko is behind bars through angles and shadow. Iroh always looks like the one who is free compared to Zuko. This reflects Zuko's conflicted feelings during this portion of his arc. It's one of the most amazing examples I've ever seen of animation using visuals to support storytelling.
