This really was a great build up to the last two episodes. Its psychological thriller/horror so well done, the jump scares work because you get caught up in the dialogue. You know its coming, but you're so distracted it works - Hope Oak's voice is okay now!!! lol

As you've said, the house is like a character, a great big sleeping beast say. Remember Luke's monologue when he had 90 days sobriety? He would wait for his mom and watch the cars pass: golden headlights were hope, red taillights "taking hope with them." In episode 4, the house lights up a warm gold for Nell to lure her in, showing her everything she would dream of wanting. With Luke, the house lights are red, hopelessness, and he sees the truth of the house inside. A very cool tie in that I just love.
