super excited for divergent. those of some of my favorite books ever written. the movies did not do the books justice AT ALL. but they are still a generally entertaining movie series (especially for people who’ve never read the books and don’t have that comparison)

I read the books before the show was released, so one of my favorite things was seeing small easter eggs and compare how they did it in the books to how it looks in the series. as for the slow pacing, knowing that there are 13 books in the series, I feel like they did a pretty good job with shortening the story for the show. it might seem slow, but I never actually felt bored watching it :) I also really like the "dark" comedy style of the show and some of its absurd moments. It was already pretty fun in the book, but the series made it look much darker lol.

I’m not sure if y’all will ever do any documentary type reactions, but if so, I think it’d be fun to hear y’all’s thoughts on Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana documentary (it’s on Netflix)! It’s always interesting especially when reactors aren’t as familiar with her story to see what you think of her journey once you see it clearly laid out from her experience! Either way, I continue to enjoy all the fun shows and movies y’all put out, so thanks for all the time y’all put in to the channel and how much you listen to your viewers!

I think it will be very interesting to see how Divergent goes. The first one was almost exactly what I pictured in the book but they massively let the fans down for movies 2 and 3.
