What a film this was by Christopher Nolan! Not going to lie, didn't understand some parts, but regardless, still really good! Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Cain, Matt Dameon and more. This film had an awesome cast. Very interesting story by Nolan. Hanz Zimmer CRUSHED the score on this movie. Oak did fall asleep back in 2014 when he attempted to watch it.... never fear he did NOT fall asleep during this!

First time watch: Mason Quinn, Answer. Oak attempted a first watch in 2014 but fell asleep.

So we as humans experience and can manipulate up to 3 dimensions. The first would be like a line. It moves in 1 direction and nothing else. The second is like a drawing on paper. If you draw a smiley face in a box on the paper we as 3 dimensional beings can see inside that box, but a living being in the second dimension would only see the box. The 3rd which is easiest to understand because we live in it. Then the 4th is time. We can not perceive time as a physical dimension, we have no control over it. We just exist in it's grasp. The "tesseract" or the thing he was in where there was infinite bookshelves is a physical representation of time. It would be like taking a cube which as you know is 3d and adding a new dimension (or time) on to it. "They," or the future beings are able to see all through time, but they have no way of picking a specific moment to interact with it. That is where Cooper comes in. His connection to his daughter is what allowed them to find the specific space and time for him to interact and provide her with the data needed to utilize gravity. Basically what this shows is that eventually humans evolve with this knowledge. In the movie you see them able to manipulate gravity, which is the first step in manipulating space and time, allowing us to evolve into higher beings. I know this was released forever ago, but I just subbed and had to type this out. I absolutely love this movie and cannot get enough of researching Astrophysics, Quantum Physics and Quantum Mechanics. Really wish I would've payed more attention in school because fields like this are the most interesting thing to me.

You know what... I have put off watching this movie for a long time, and didn't even bother with spoilers as I thought / felt that it wasn't worth my time. I also had a weird feeling inside every time I thought about wanting to watch it with you guys. Today I decided to push past that barrier and watch it along with you guys. Wow, just an amazing movie with a message I think I actually needed in my life right at this time. I don't want to go into too much detail, I just want to say thank you for this watch along. Having someone to watch it with, even if it's a digital recording, helped me go from a 0 to a 1 in terms of watching this movie. Again, thank you.
