Another great episode. This season was great! Feels like it was the last one for Cobra Kai. Maybe they should do a follow up with John Kreese, but they will prolly address that in the movie. But if this was the last season, this was an absolute blast to have 5 seasons. So well done. Loved every second of it.

Season 5 was the best season yet! I totally loved this season, even with its cheesiness. And we just found out they will be coming out with a final season, season 6. One more season to goooooo!

Oh. Interesting. The article I read yesterday was saying they aren't sure a 6th will happen. It was only 2 days old. I hope your right though 🤘🤘🤘 would love 1 more and wrap.

I googled it again. It's not official, but Ralph Macchio talked about scenes that have been filmed and were not used in this season, but they could use for the next one. They are only waiting for netflix to give green light. So, they're definitely planning to do another season. 😊

I wonder that too.🤷🏼‍♀️ When I heard the rumor about another Karate Kid movie, I thought it was a joke. 😅 I'm not sure, if that is really gonna happen.

I heard in an interview I think it was the 3 head guys that run the show said that they're willing to do Cobra Kai for many many more seasons as long as they can have material for it. They don't want it to end. So Season 6 is not necessarily going to be the end. The writers actually did confirm season 6 is a go as long as Netflix renews the show, but it's gonna be late because the writers are currently tied up doing another show. They will not begin writing season 6 until they finish writing that show, so we can expect to have to wait year or more before season 6, unlike with how fast season 5 came. There's still Chozen and Kumiko. That's not exactly wrapped up, and also Miguel's dad.. In an interview the character that plays Miguel's dad alludes to the possibility that that storyline isn't exactly wrapped up... So it's possible that maybe Miguel's dad figured out who he was and why he came to Mexico. Who knows maybe he has people working in Mexican intelligence that recorded the conversations between Miguel and his mom and Hector got those. There's also a theory that Terry Silver is terminally ill backed up by his remarks in this season "I was meant to die on the battlefield. Do it." "Youth.... the one thing money can't buy... No matter.." Him being at the hospital on a different floor at the same time as Johnny and Carmen.. His line "Savor it before it's gone" might be more of a remark to savoring life before it's gone and not meant as a threat to Johnny at all. Then there's the beginning of season 4 where he tells his chef he's skipping breakfast and the chef seems really concerned and says "Should I call the doctor?" .. Why does he have a doctor? I mean he's rich but still. is he ill?

The reaction to the crane kick... Best reaction I've ever seen. The fact that this show ran from 2018 and now is going strong in 2022 is an absolute miracle. It is nothing short of a miracle. No hyperbole there. All the times they've tried to bring back 80s classics and it just crashed and burned.. Truly amazing.

The Crane kick is the best way to end this season!!!! lol loved it! And you're right, it is a miracle that all the stars aligned for them. Really glad it is going like it is.

Season 5 as a Hardcore Karate Kid Trilogy fan (since 91') i give it a Storyline: D+ Chozen - C+ Over the top reactions, wouldn't have survived the sword cut to the back/chest in reality Daniel has always had more over-the-top reactions in past movies, lol Why should he be any different? Barnes - D They Totally.. botched the return of Mike Barnes on this season. Such a disappointment to see him as comical good guy who barely even fights. He was the best villain in the original trilogy and Daniels toughest opponent. Barnes deserved better than this small role. Such a wasted opportunity. I suppose I can agree that he was the best villain, however I still maintain he's better off progressing & room for the character to grow. Makes him look more human than a generic bad guy. Terry - Wasn't wild enough as kk3 Terry. and lost a fight to end to Daniel clean 🤦🏽‍♂️False Reality x5 Guess you have a point there. Kreese - A fine Still don't like how he just doesn't get better as a person. Once bad, always bad. Lady Kim - A fine Still too typical 80s bad girl. But was fine. Daniel - B+ ... Amanda - C- Still Selfish as all other seasons I only side with her in one part, the fundraiser, or party they were at. Only time I understand her & when she left Daniel. Doing what she can to protect. Can't fault a Mother for that. Johnny - B as expected nothing fake or false Agreed. Carmen - A still a real wife I've never felt so jealous over a character then this one. Ever in my life. Only because you see her as a "Real Wife". 😔 Jessica Andrews - A made very good sense Agreed. Miguel - B- too much crying for for doing nothing wrong Too emotional, yes. Robbie A - Fine - , helpful and fully believable The one who grew the most of all kids. Sam - D just as selfish as the other seasons for no reason Never a dull moment when she only tbinks of herself. Sad. Tori - D- scared of sam too too much for no reason Still maintain she wasn't afraid, more so just avoiding further conflict. Hawk - A - all good ✔️ Demetri - A- all normal ✔️ Anthony - A as good as it'll get with him ✔️ Kenny - B- Fake reaction to Robbie at the water park Could've been less cheesy. Stingray - B- Give up on Cobra Kai w/terry too fast Can you blame him really tho?

I'm in the same boat. I'm fine trusting the writers to provide some quality content if they do another season. I think there's still a few story threads they can tie together even though they don't need to. More than anything, Miyagi-Do/Eagle Fang are still in the Sekai Taikai so the final season/movie could take place training and preparing them for that.
