We are now caught up and this episode was another good one. The story is shaping up. Definitely like the pacing here. Really looking forward to episode 4. 

Question, what did the father really mean by "marry who you want"

About Viserys wounds. He should be able to heal and, in fact, he should not get cut on the throne. Getting cut proves that you do not know how to sit the throne and should not be king. You may have forgotten that Targaryens marry siblings especially if they are in line for the throne. The age doesn’t matter. Even in the real world betrothal and marriages happened while both parties were children or when the girl was young and the man was old. Christon Cole couldn’t marry now because he is kings guard. Remember, Jamie couldn’t marry. And she wouldn’t be allowed to marry someone of low birth anyway. Do you guys remember what Jon Snow’s real name is?

Yeah exactly. Viserys and his first wife, Aemma are first cousins, and Viserys' parents were brother and sister. It is known that Targaryens want to keep the bloodline pure, hence marrying within the family

Yes he is Aegon Targaryen he may have been named after Aegon the Conqueror. His father was Rhaegar Targaryen and mother was Lyanna Stark and Great great nephew of Maester Aemon of the Nigh’s Watch.

I heard you guys mention last episode about them having all these dragons at their disposal but a lot of dragons are young at this point of the story or are bonded to other riders which you will see when a long 15 year time jump happens around episode 6 I believe. Also they can’t send a ton of dragons to do stuff like fight wars because dragons are bonded with a rider and nobody else bar a few dragons who may have a few different bonded riders can actually control them. For example nobody else can ride and control Caraxes (daemons dragon) and the same goes for Syrax (Rhaenyras dragon). Hope this helps. Loving the reactions.
