Hello all! A lot of you said this was an awesome one to watch and you weren't kidding. This was a lot of fun. Loved the score, the story felt like a continuation from the first. The comedy was spot on. Action was great. Really looking forward to the next one!

Love this one 🙌🙌

It's not been said yet, and this is nearly a year late, but one of the coolest parts of this movie is how they filmed the end. When Barbosa came down the stairs, all the actors thought it was going to be Zoe Saldana's character. They actually snuck Geoffrey rush into costume and make up and they filmed their real reaction to it being Barbosa coming down the stairs.

The crew and Jack Sparrow escaping the island with the cannibals will forever be one of my favorite moments in the whole series of movies. I mean, it's just so clever and entertaining and fun to watch. Elizabeth and Jack have a platonic relationship. The first time the compass points at Jack while Elizabeth is holding, it's because Norrington asked Elizabeth if she wanted to know who sent Will on Davy Jones' ship. When she looks at the compass, it points at Jack, so she knows that it was him who did. Which only confirmed that Jack wasn't completely honest with her. So she looks very upset. The second time, on the island while they are looking for the Dead Man's chest, the compass points at Jack again while Elizabeth is holding it. It's believed it was pointing at the chest which was in between her and Jack, and coincidentally pointing at Jack. But, there is also a theory where it was pointing at Will in swimming in the ocean to get to the island. There's also another theory that says Elizabeth has always been fascinated with pirates from a young age. I don't think there is any romantic feelings between them but she does appreciate his free spirit, his qualities. Maybe some attraction to some extends too. But she only truly loves Will. She also didn't necessarily want to bind him to the Pearl at the end, but it was something she had to do. She was right, the Kraken wanted Jack, wherever he would be. He had the dark mark on his hand. They HAD to leave him behind. The kiss was to trick him, and shackle him. You can tell she feels awful for having done that. And she also wants to bring him back. It's bittersweet but it all makes sense. Also, nothing will top the return of Captain Barbossa. I mean, what a legendary character. I keep praising him but he's a great character x) And to answer the question, the two goofy guys at the start were not the two goofy red coat guys from the first movie. They do kinda look alike tho. Great reaction once again! My favorite movie in this series is the third (so the upcoming one). It's honestly top tier. Can't wait for you guys to get to it. So many new characters too. Great story line.

I love the third movie ❤️ The music, the storyline and the scenes is amazing! Looking forward to next week 😀

Great stuff here! And everyone is saying great things about 3. We are pumped to see it.

I have a feeling you'll like this third one if you thought this plot line was a little repetitive. It's an epic conclusion to this trilogy story and has twists you likely will never see coming. I personally like the third for Elizabeth's arc specifically. We see her becoming her own person and step up as a leader in these last two, but she has a great arc with this next one. She's one of my favorite female characters from an action series because she's badass and involved right in the middle of the action, but without having to ever point it out like it's anything unusual. She just is. So many films/shows have epic character moments, but they'll be inclined to add in 'girl power' lines or incredulous comments pointing out/shunning that it's a women doing it, especially in period pieces like this. And there's often a push from other character's to sideline a character like her "for protection". Pirates never does any of that and it's incredibly refreshing. And you'll definitely find the big actions sequences and sets really cool in this next one. Thank you so much for doing this series! It's been so fun to rewatch with new perspective!

I get so hyped for the Barbossa reveal every single time I watch, it’s such a great ending. Can’t wait for the World’s End reaction - its epic!

idk if it's been said but Elizabeth's dad is also in Game of Thrones- he was the high sparrow :)

Definitely looking forward the next one. A lot of people say it's one of the better ones.

Tanisha Jones

Davy Jones is goated! Seriously one of the best villains Disney has to offer. And hey listen boys....I dont give two drops of monkey urine what people say about Pirates 4. Its my favorite! Say what you want about plots or what have you....but Pirates 4 is peak Sparrow for me and thats why I LOVE IT! Cant wait to see your reaction

Long Pork is human meat.

I think my favorite is the third movie. I love seeing so many other pirates in action and how they interact with each other (arguments, friendships, etc.) And I love how it works into the second movie, so the continuation of the stories. And I like the one eyed pirate.

By the way, you asked about the two goofy Marines and if they were in this movie. No, they were not. They do make an appearance in the future, but they were not in this one.

I'm with The Oak on this one. I still really like it, but the first and third movies are definitely my favorites <3 I am really into character development and I don't feel like there was too much in this one. I watched them as they came out in theaters and to me this felt like a typical sequel - setting things up for the third movie. Still good though! <3
