Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies FULL REACTION link HERE

Possibly our last trip to middle earth. Bittersweet. First we said goodbye to Potter and now to The Hobbit (LOTRs). This was an awesome end for the Hobbit. The battle scene was great! This wasn't the extended version, but we will have to look up the extended scenes for this. Loved how they did the ending for this. Overall, a good trilogy for the Hobbits.

What was your thoughts on these 3 movies?

Thank you all so much for your support. We appreciate you all!

Are the 3 Hobbit Full Lengths gone for good or are they uploaded elsewhere?

Working on those links right now actually. Patreon has some issues yesterday and wouldn't let me update anything. Support reached out a little bit and should be good to go here soon.

Hobbit 1 and 3 have been updated. Still working on 2. Let me know if those links don't work.

Yass!!! 😃🤟

Here's a music video that Billy Boyd (Pippin) recorded for that song in the credits. Maybe worth doing a small reaction for, rather than a whole round-table like you did for Potter. https://youtu.be/q8ir8rVl2Z4

The fact that both brothers die breaks my heart every time :( I wish one of them had survived his injuries.

OK! I was finally able to watch it, I was not able to yesterday. I cried! Again! Fili and Kili's death is always emotional to me, but it's Thorin's death that hits me the hardest, specially his parting words to Bilbo. I love both the version of the film and the original version of the book, the one on the screen is a lot more touching in my opinion, but I love both. I'll leave both for comparison: Film adaptation of the quote: “Farewell, Master Burglar. Go back to your books, and your armchair. Plant your trees, watch them grow. If more people valued home above gold, this world would be a merrier place.” Original quote: “There is more in you of good than you know, child of the kindly West. Some courage and some wisdom, blended in measure. If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world. But sad or merry, I must leave it now. Farewell!” I love both quotes, but the one said by Richard Armitage's Thorin is a lot more emotional, specially because of the way Martin and Richard played their characters, while in the books it is a lot more like friendship, their relationship in the film is a lot more intimate, reminds me of Martin and Benedict's performance of John and Sherlock, it's a lot like a romance. If I remember correctly, it was intended, that's how Richard and Martin interpreted their parts and played them accordingly. This is why Peter shows us a parallel between Bilbo and Thorin and Tauriel and Kili. In the books, there is no Tauriel, no love story, and while I was not happy with her addition innitially, I actually did enjoy her in the movie. Thranduil's fighting scenes are incredible, he is a Warrior King after all, and the scene in the film with Legolas and Tauriel at the end? I loved it. It doesn't happen in the books, but I loved that Peter wrote it into the script. Elves marry for life, they can fall in love several times, but they marry for life. Thranduil lost his wife, who he loved, and never spoke of her because of the pain of loss. Legolas knows his father loves him, but he had never heard word of his mother, that's why Thranduil saying "Your mother loved you. More than anything else. More than life." is so impactful, his mother died fighting so that Legolas would never know the missery of the dark forces. The Hobbit always spoke closer to me, I believe that it's because of the loss at the end, and because Tolkien wrote this story specifically for his children. The song at the end in the credits, I don't know if you heard it, but it's called The Last Goodbye, always makes me emotional, and it was written and performed by Billy Boyd who played Pippin in the LOTR trilogy. It's a very emotional song, when I saw this movie in theaters this song really made it hit that it was The Last Goodbye at the time. I'm glad Amazon is doing the show, and I'm excited for it, but I'm keeping my expectations low, just in case. I really appreciate your reactions and the conversations at the end. Thank you as always for these fantastic reactions! Can't wait for your video of the 3 Pottermore quizzes (wizardingworld it was originally called Pottermore, I was one of the people who got to BETA the site, I stayed several nights trying to get the invite by deciphering the puzzles), and your reactions to The Hunger Games (I read the two last books on a plane from Boston to my country Peru) and the Fantastic Beasts movies.

Quizzes are out now! 😁 Great stuff here. Glad you enjoy the discussions after. We always wonder if people stick around for those. I think one thing you can say about these LOTRs movies is that you'll never get a bad battle screen. 🤘 Glad you enjoyed the reaction.

Hello and welcome! Glad your here! We have had discussions about LOTR series! We might end up doing that!

My favorite part of watching you guys is the honesty in your reactions. Some of you like certain things, others prefer different things, you disagree sometimes, and you just say it. It is great fun, and much better than the pandering I see on other channels. Personally, I seriously disliked The Hobbit trilogy when it came out. As a big fan of the book, I was really unhappy with how much the films diverged from the story. I decided to watch your reaction vids on it, anyway, not having seen the films since they came out, and I'm glad I did. I tried to look at them as their own entities and see if there was enjoyment I could get out of them and there was. It was good for me to see what a big fan of those films liked about them, too. So, thanks!

Oh thank you! Very kind of you here. We appreciate it and we will always keep it real🤙🤙🤙 We definitely understand where you're coming from. We have had a lot of people share their thoughts on the Hobbits and they were happy with it. But they definitely weren't on LOTRs level, still entertaining. Happy to see you gave them a shot. 🤙🤙🤙
