Chrissy, in her first vision in toilets, saw her mother calling her a "fat pig" or something and in the last vision her mom was loosening up her cheerleader outfit. So I assume that her mom caused her complexes about being skinny and good-looking and maybe because of it she was going to counselor. Summarizing, she had problems from the past that still affected her in the present, just like Fred. At least that's my theory.

I also had little sympathy for the bully :). I do wonder how this new monster will tie into the rest of the lore they've set up about the upside down. It seems a lot different than what we've seen before.
