LINK: Blade FULL REACTION

Back in the Vampire world, we go. Time for Answer and Oak to get the Blade experience! The story follows Blade’s mission to stop Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), a renegade vampire with plans to unleash an ancient blood god.

Wesley Snipes as Blade was top-notch with a charismatic mix of stoicism and badassery, perfectly capturing the character's dark, brooding nature. His physicality and martial arts skills are on full display in this film. Kris Kristofferson and N'Bushe Wright are great in this as well.

Visually, it still holds up well for a 1998 film. We get some 90's nostalgia in here just a bit. Although some effects may seem dated by today's standards, they still deliver. The action scenes are expertly choreographed and it feels enhanced by a pulsating electronic soundtrack that amplifies the film's dynamic energy. While this and Twilight are on different levels, this was fun to see the dark and grit in the Vampire genre. Bring on Blade 2.

I read in ScreenRant that the new Blade will be more emotional, sociable and more of a team player and possibly a team leader than Wesley Snipes portrayal*. The new version will better fit into MCU's more modern environment. This quote from ScreenRant reads "After debuting in cinemas in 1998, the R-rated Marvel comic adaptation Blade proved to be a hit for New Line Cinema. Ultimately, Blade became Marvel’s first box office success, influencing a roster of Marvel superhero movies that followed in the new millennium." * I had not realized that the 1998 version of Blade had such impact on Marvels popular super hero films.

Since you guys are doing anime now and are enjoying the vampire genre I suggest Castlevania. Lots of neat lore and amazing animation. I love that Answer brought up Grounded For Life! If some of you haven't seen it I HIGHLY recommend reacting to it. Super funny sitcom, with great cameos and a real feel of what being in a low income fair size family is like.
