I also think most people that vote late, after the first 50 or so votes, are influenced by the current standings and are tempted to only vote for the top poll leaders. Voting for others might seem like a wasted effort unless you're a die-hard Excella, Elizabeth, or Yennefer fan and do it for the principle.
