////// Gender Tags & upcoming content //////

Hello! Content will begin rolling out at regular intervals again. I hope you enjoy the Teachers Pet(M4M+M4F) / Masked Hero(M4F) / Isekai(BL) / Queen's Concubine(M4F) themes. Dallas Series will also finally conclude. I hate tagging things as 4Gender because I think thats total bullshit (if you don't believe in gender/orientation segregation in bathrooms, public spaces, workplaces, education, libraries, etc — why would you do it in media?)

I'm forced to tag gender/sex on other websites but on MY website I probably won't bother anymore.

////// Ethical Merch //////

If you've noticed some of my merch options have disappeared, its because I've decided that merch is pretty paradoxical to my values, and I let the excitement of having my own merch override my ethical and environmental values. I only buy from thrift stores/small businesses and other than my obsession with Cinnamoroll I personally don't consume merch... so why do I sell it?

I've decided that from now on, I will only sell merch produced by local artisans, small business owners, and Facebook moms/college kids with a side hustle. Exception will be art prints because I can't really source those from a small business. I kept the most popular items up, but they will be made unavailable in October.

The first item I'll be selling is a Cer-bee-ros crochet plushie! Please comment down below if you'd like one so I can get an idea of how many to order. (Estimated October/November)

////// Book Recommendations //////

I read a TON of books this month (and its not even over) but here are some of my reccomendations:

  • Once and Future Witches (Book-burning Fiction)

  • BLUFF (Black American Queer Poetry)

  • Pathologies (Queer Fiction)

  • Servitude Book 3 (Queer Smut)

////// What I've been up to //////

These last couple months have been amazing for my mental health and creative process. I was at a poetry reading and the author of the book discussed how he stopped viewing his periods of writer's block as lack of creative output, and reframed it as "the period of silence between words, the bridge between one plateau to another" and it really helped me stop feeling guilty when I could not create.

More than anything though is that now that I've stopped growing just to grow, I've learned that I actually don't have to compete with myself. I'm perfectly comfortable and I can pay the people I work with fairly. I can donate to causes that I care about. I can slow down and breath and create what matters to me.

Instead of running on the content treadmill trying to beat my previous record, I spend a lot of time just volunteering. I don't sit my ass down at a desk for 10 hours wringing myself dry anymore. Instead I volunteer almost full-time and I write when I have the chance and I act when I have the energy. I used to do this for fun instead of for work, and I posted a helluva lot more when I had fun.

I'm having fun again.

This month so far I've logged 100 volunteer hours at food banks, homeless shelters, womens shelters, youth shelters, soup kitchens, book drives, and extracurricular education centers. I've also been able to donate over $3000 in womens underwear thanks to your support on Fansly. Thank you for giving me the privilege to serve those in need. It especially warms my heart to be able to help people at emergency financial assistance centers, because not too long ago I relied on those services, and now I get to work for them.

For privacy concerns I will not name any of the organizations I work with, but all the thank you letters I recieve also belong to you.

////// Poetry: Wishes, Witchcraft, & Prayers //////

I've been attending classes & lectures on creative writing as well as going to slam poetry events in my free time. At first it was just for fun, but I realized that it also gave me confidence in my own scriptwriting. It made it easier to trust my pen and paper again. Aside from returning to script writing, I've decided to work on a poetry book. It will involve nursery rhymes, fairy tales, flowers, and other superstitions. Something between wishes, witchcraft, and prayers.

This is partially inspired by "Once and Future Witches" and it's use of nursery rhymes and old wives tales as spells.

The first poem I wrote for this book is called  “Bird of Paradise”

Along the cracks of concrete’s craggy clutch

Lies a bloom bird, cleaving through calloused clay

Your petals bright, a soft and fragile blush,

Yet trapped in harsh unyielding stone, you stay

You long for wings to lift you loose from land,

To wander freely, a plume untethered

But your roots are bound to a concrete hand

You dream of fields, flora bud unfettered

The cement’s cold confines you cannot break,

Your roots cry out, “stop trying to be free”

But the call of green groves makes your heart ache,

Dreams of flying from where you are to where you’re meant to be.

You push against the concrete expecting to tear yourself in two

You realize you’re not a flower, you’re a bird that never flew.

A spell for breaking curses, requiring a feather & a longing heart.
