Hey! I enjoyed answering your questions yesterday, so I'd like to do more! I've already got a few in the comments from the last post, which I'll save, and so drop more down below and I'll answer them all in one go.

Are you ever going to make a game yourself (or with a team, I'm interested)? :)

If you were to perhaps pick 3-5 games everyone interested in games as an art form - or, to perhaps an easier version of that question, just some of the greatest games ever created that it should be studied (studied, being the most important part)... What would they be? As an example, Spec Ops: The Line could be studied as a method of deceptive storytelling using the player, rather than the main character, as the vehicle for plot... or something...

Can you talk about video games as medical treatments (like for people with depression or anxiety, perhaps Alzheimers)? It seems like games might be able to help people practice vital skills for different situations, or go through the exercises that they need to keep mind or body working well. Also, how about video games for people with disabilities (tremors, recall issues)? How do people with disabilities play certain games or are there games that can target or work well for folks with particular disabilities?

What's been the biggest surprise you've encountered when playing a new game? Has there been a game that you have been excited to play and then totally let down by the actual product? And then has there been a game you thought you'd hate and you actually came away loving it? Also, what's your favourite video game series that has kept you coming back to it?

Playing Earthbound as a seven year old was one of the first times I recognized the emotional impact that a piece of fiction could have on me, let alone a video game. I suspect that most people who are passionate about games had a similar experience, so what's your fondest or most significant or most impactful memory of video games from your childhood?

As a popular person with opinions about games and active on social media, you probably face some backslash or make some people very upset once in a while. How do you deal with it? Does it affect how you treat the content you want to put out there?

Late to the party, text response is fine, what are your favourite and least favourite episodes of GMT?

Hey! My favourite is probably "Analysing Mario to Master Super Mario Maker", clunky headline aside. One of the major themes of Game Maker's Toolkit is that there's so much to gain by looking at and learning from existing games. And this Mario Maker video proves it: my level (aka, game) is informed by the design ethos seen in real Mario games, and is so much better for it. Being able to see the process - from analysis to implantation - is a nice encapsulation of the show as a whole. I don't really have a least favourite episode. Nothing sticks out to me as particularly weaker than the others - though you guys may disagree! I do wish I could redo certain videos though. Far Cry 2 vs Far Cry 4, for example, is actually one of the most important videos on my channel - I realise in retrospect - because it's about why designers choose certain mechanics or systems. It's about setting the right tone or giving the right experience. I think I could possibly explain it a little better now. Thanks!
