Curiosity Poll - How important is voice acting to you? (Patreon)

Events in the last few weeks have made me really think about it and how reliant I am with VAs and it got me curious on how you guys feel about it.

The results won't likely change how I do things, it's just a poll out of curiosity. I much prefer doing stuff with voice acting because I find it fun (except if it fits that the character doesn't speak like Tinkerbell or Haydee).

I love the voice acting, but it's not really a priority for me.

Voice acting adds quite a lot to the experience in my opinion, and I do prefer it present. However, with or without it, I'm not bothered by it as top priority for me is animation and scenario. ;)

For me, voice acting is pretty important, but terrible VO is worse than none at all^^ I can enjoy stuff without it just fine, but having decent moans and sound effects massively improves the experience for me.

The way you did it in the past, with just ingame voices and sound effects was plenty good too :)

Good VA's add a lot to a vid. And the VA's you've used have always been spot on IMO.

VA isnt a deal breaker but its certainly a decision maker. If that makes sense. lol

The thing is, it depends on you, like if you have something planned that involves a lot of funny quirky dialogue like you usually do then I could see why you’d need to hire a voice actor. But if your just going for sounds and moans why not save a buck and rip the files from the game? I mean you could mix it up a bit and do a bit of both.

When the porn is animated and there's no voice acting, I am left feeling disappointed.

IMO voice acting and sound are completely necessary for anims that rely on characterization. For ones that are "just porn" it's not necessary.

Thanks for the input guys. I just wanted to add that the only reason I can have VAs in my content in the first place was because all your support so thanks for that :]
