Hello kittens!  Ah, how I've been waiting for the opportunity to post this foxy! Zoe inspired me to do a really intricate watercolor... and I just recently completed it.

I wanted to do something really different from the original foxes. Reference is great, it shows detail but doesn't reveal character. I wanted to tell the story of this girl in the drawing, not just in the text. I spent a long time choosing the gamma and the pose (especially the pose, it's always the hardest part for me).

The idea was for Zoe to suddenly appear to Mr. Bug in all her naked beauty. Why? Just out of a flirtatious desire to embarrass him, because he's dead serious.😁 So that he'll worry for a long time and think “what the hell was that?!”.  And yes, in this AU Mr. Bug did not lose the bee talisman, but the fox talisman. So Adrian is unaware that underneath the mask hides the hilarious Zoe, who in normal life he knows as well as Chloe.

Zoe is smart and perceptive enough to recognize Adrian in any guise. For her, though, it's all something of an interesting game she plays with all of Paris

Kitsune is a showman of sorts, she can't get naked “just like that”. She needs special effects to outshine the dull background of Paris. So that the viewer doesn't get distracted from what's important. Obviously, the best background for fenec is the desert and rough sand. But the illusion of flaming flying leaves came to my mind: for the owner of the fox talisman it is very easy to create such a mirage.  And this illusion perfectly reflects the fiery character of this fox.

At the same time, Zoe is not a femme fatale like Lila Rossi. Lila is the epitome of femme fatale femininity. Zoe has a slightly different kind of femininity

Anyway, seeing all this Mr. Bug must have been speechless and sleep deprived. Bubastis (Ale Noir) is going to have to try hard to beat the effect of such an appearance, hehe. She's going to freak out if she finds out that Zoe put on such a show. Also because she considers herself an expert at embarrassing Mr. Bug. In a way, it's her profession 😄

In short 🤣,  I'm glad for the opportunity to work on this AU. I wouldn't mind revisiting this version of Zoe in the future if you want me to, per se. In the meantime, I have plans to do something fun in the near future. I think you'll like this watercolor I'm working on right now. Oh, and of course, I haven't forgotten about the comics. Yes, yes, I will continue to work on them in the near future
