I spent a few hours this weekend playing some Baldur’s Gate 3 and then came Sunday evening and I realized the seven other household things I needed to make progress on just did not happen… at all. Is there room in my life for a big 100+ hour RPG? It’s a really busy December over in my house, so time is at a premium.  I’ve now committed to paper (digital paper) all the household projects, across a bunch of weekends, with other family commitments and holiday stuff also included, and let me tell you, Baldur’s Gate 3 will find a way! Now, can Alan Wake II fit in there too… SURE!

Speaking of finding a way, there are still releases coming out in December. This week, that Avatar game is out on Thursday, along with a bunch of other releases. Not sure if we’ll have those games in time to talk about them on the podcast, but they may make their way into a Grab Bag or other stream. On the Cyperpunk end of things, I think we’re ready for cyber-rubber to hit cyber-road in terms of the plot… I think. Don’t cyber-quote me on it. What I do know is that we’re back to Twin Peaks over on the Watchcast and that’s awesome! There’s 1 been a better time for Pacific Northwest weirdness.

Additionally, we’ll have the Ramblecast, Podcast, and also a Planorama going up this week, so make sure to load up!

The Nextlander Podcast Recording Day!
Will there be leaks before Thursday night’s Game Awards? Something’s gotta spill, right? Will I (Vinny) finish Baldur’s Gate 3 or Alan Wake II before we record? No, most definitely not. Almost zero percent chance, but I’m working on it!
Posts ASAP for all Patrons and then Thursday mornings for the general public

I read "PLANorama" as "PIANOrama" for some reason and it's just part of my Nextlander headcanon now

Hey guys, I noticed that you've felt like Cyberpunk was a little too dark. I think they actually just released an update that will fix some of that. But if it isn't enough, I used a mod that removed all of the vignetting in the game because I found it way to intense. Might be worth a look to see if it would help. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/9209?tab=files&file_id=50153
