Will be sending the new game out late on the 20th. Things are actually more or less on schedule. It's just that starting a new game inevitably takes a lot of setup work (even with the fact that it's primarily a re-skin.)

Just to assure you guys I'm not sitting on my haunches here, things I've done for the new game:

-Created new hud graphics

-Setup new method of mapping, using multi-colored tiles

-Setup new iconset for status ailments, equips, etc.

-Created a special system for healing items.

-Revised battle system coding, which changes quite a few things from Rainy Skies

-Setup a new database of items, skills, equips

-Drawn 4 different character portraits

-Drawn 3 enemies, and the major villainess of the game

-Made revisions/improvements to message system

-Setup starting area

-Implemented music(!)


I'm going to take the weekend to setup at least 1, hopefully 2 sex scenes, and then send it out for you guys to try. At this point, most of the pieces are in place (there's some things I do still need to code, but hopefully should be straightforward to set up.) I'm also really liking how it's coming together. It actually feels like it flows properly, which hasn't been the case with Rainy Skies.

So if the update after isn't jam-packed with content, I will eat my goddamn hat.

Nice, also this time away from rainy skies might be a good thing, take a break and do something different so you can get your creative juices flowing again. You know us we don't mind waiting on perfection especially since we get a new game out of the deal 😄
