The last weekly polls winner Unbreakable, which will be available this Saturday. Until then here are SOME of the films recommended by you guys. Remember, you can vote for multiple films!
Reminder: movies that don't win does not mean they will never be watched, it just means they will be watched later. Please be respectful to each others opinions, we're all just here to have fun and watch movies :)

Add JFK to the list.

Now see, this is where you need multi-voting. You have four equally excellent choices. And your lesser ones are two Best Picture winners and an ambitious war picture.

"Norma Rae"(1979)is an Oscar winning film about the efforts of a woman to unionize the garment industry in the deep south. True story and an Oscar winning performance by Sally Field. It's fantastic.

Will a poll for Christmas movies be coming soon? If so I would like to recommend: How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) - Staring Jim Carrey. Home Alone 2 (1992) Violent Night (2022)

A couple movies that would have fit nicely into this poll... A Beautiful Mind Glory Remember the Titans A League of Their Own Tremors ;-)

Future poll idea... Ugly cry movies: My Girl Old Yeller The Whale Steel Magnolias The Boy in the Striped Pajamas Sophie's Choice Dead Poets Society Fried Green Tomatoes A.I. Artificial Intelligence Marley and Me

Cracks me up that 2 of the leading choices, Catch Me if You Can and Braveheart, are pretty much just historical fiction. IE some of the characters are real but but the stories are almost complete fictions.

8bitAndy

You can say the same thing about pretty much all movies based on real people or events. Remember the Titans, Moneyball, Troy, 300, any other "historical" movie on the channel, every Robin Hood movie ever made, the new Napoleon movie, etc... etc... etc... Braveheart is about a folk hero who's adventures and deeds were exaggerated long before Mel Gibson got a hold of him. Catch Me If You Can is also about a folk hero, just one who took it upon himself to exaggerate his own story. Hollywood is in the entertainment business not the education business.

"Catch me if you can", said Spielberg. Well… no one was able to catch him, they were far behind ! 😆

Honestly I will probably just skip the vids for Catch me if you can and The Social Network

Into The Wild would be a good one for this category.

Let’s do an “underrated” movie poll! I’d vote Death to Smoochy and Joe vs the Volcano

Choi_Yujin_Stan_Account

Underrated is def in the eye of the beholder but I like the general idea... as a rule I'd just love more polls that do not have any BIG movies... one reason the Foreign movie poll was so refreshing was something interesting HAD to win.. an underrated poll..a indie movie poll..etc... I love the most films including the big budget and well known stuff..but those have also been done by ALL the react channels..I love when S&G react to stuff noone else really is..why I keep hoping for Booksmart... Thoroughbreds...The VVitch...and things like that

Lucifer Moon

the wave (2008 German film)

"The Hindenburg" (1975) and "I Want to Live" (1958) are both inspired by real events, and both directed by Robert Wise, who made also "The Curse of the Cat People" (1944) and "The Andromeda Strain" (1971).

I feel sorry for Argo, because it's a very funny movie (in a special way) and an interesting "crazy but true story" !
