As a kid, I was spoiled on Rosebud by another cartoon series called The Real Ghostbusters (based on the movie). The Ghostbusters try to capture the ghost of a Charles Foster Hearse haunting his old mansion, and in the end he just wants to ride his childhood sled named Rosebud.

Now that you've seen it, you can enjoy this Family Guy joke, which spoiled it for me well before I ever saw it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILSbYH9pvjQ

I always thought this movie was so well regarded, at minimum by filmmakers, but now finally seen it - holy cow what a feast! Many tricks and innovations, nothing like the 'old and stuffy' stereotype of movies. But also courageous ideas and challenging thoughts. Previously also just knew critics and special effect insight into it. The story I knew kinda from trivia and quizzes^^ Oh and Don Rosa's Scrooge comic 'The Richest Duck in the World' draws Scrooge and Kane similar in it's opening :D.

It seems that the outro comments on the Patreon version are longer than the YT edit. Is there a reason you do this? I usually watch the YT edit and love all of your trivia and aftershow bits. Didn't realize I might be missing some by not going to the full video version.

the reason is that from our end, we can see when majority of viewers lose interest and click away from a video on YT, and the drop off happens at the end of teh movie reaction portion, about 70% of people leave the video. and as far as YT analytics and algorithm is concerned, the longer the duration of low viewership portion lasts, the worse teh video is performing as it means low engagement rate. which is why we edit the videos so that the intro and post movie portions are short enough for the algorithm to be happy, and long enough to make a few key points we wanted to make.

My favorite Orson Welles roles, his cameo in the 1979 "The Muppet Movie" and his final role as the evil planet eater Unicron in 1986's "The Transformers: The Movie" which Welles called a stupid toy movie so he obviously did it for the paycheck...but Unicron is still 1 of my favorite villains cuz of his voice.

I've really enjoyed your reactions to the several older movies you've watched over the last couple of weeks. I'd like to request 'Arsenic And Old Lace' (1944). It's a fun movie and it takes place on Halloween. Maybe you could put it on an October poll.
