All A24 Movies Removed, no more A24 films in the future. (Patreon)

UPDATES 2:

1. Okay so the investigation with YouTube ended fairly quickly and has been confirmed that the email address is oddly enough, legit. Despite it being a gmail account. So that's that, we will be on this 90 day probation and hope against all hope no other studio decides to strike us. If we reach 3 strikes, then the channel is automatically deleted.

2. We are in the process of building up a second back up channel now. Still downloading all our content, thanks to all of your suggestions and help we are now downloading everything in its original quality, and over the next few weeks slowly reupload all of them to the new channel. But they will all be unlisted. They are back ups after all.

3. Hopefully we never need to use it, but if the day ever comes where the current main channel is deleted due to studio copyright strikes, every video posted on patreon will become unavailable temporarily. We will at that point need to manually relink every post back to its appropriate video and that may take some time so IF that happens, we'll make an announcement and just bear with us.

4. We have also reached out to A24 to try to plead and reason with them in the slim hope that they will retract the claim, but this is unlikely. Though doenst hurt to try, they've already done the most damage they can. And since we no longer have any YT edits of A24 movies available, they won't be able to claim anything else should they choose further bloodshed instead.

5. Thank you all for your encouragements and kind words, as well as suggestions for other ways to bypass these dangers. We will put everything into consideration and hopefully come up with better plans in the future. For the time being our efforts are entirely focused on urgent back ups of what we already have, as well as continuously providing new content for everyone.

6. We understand that it may be disappointing to hear that we have to stay away from A24 content for a while, we love everything we've seen from them so far and was very much looking forward to more. So it pains us just as much to have to stay away from their radars for some time until their eyes move on from us, and then perhaps we can return to their catalogue in the future.

UPDATES:

1. We are now suspecting that theres a chance the claim was made fraudulently but some how got through the system. We are working with YT support to investigate this further, should this turns out to be the case we will be requesting the strikes removal and video reinstatement. This investigation may take a little while.

2. If the claim actually turns out to be legit and A24 just happens to send out claims with gmail accounts rather than @a24. com emails. Then we have no choice but to stay on our original course of staying away from their content for a long while until the heat dies down and perhaps then, returning to their catalogue again at a very very sparse pace. So fingers crossed its a false claim.

3. As its midnight for me and my pain meds are kicking in. Im going to bed. Will update further when theres more info. Hi folks, so A24 just gave us a full copyright strike for Ex Machina. Our channel is now under a 90 day probation period, where if we were to receive 2 additional strikes from a studio or license holder, the channel will be permanently removed.

To be extra safe we have decided to delete all YouTube edits of A24 movies, this includes Hereditary and Everything Everywhere All At Once. We will also not be doing any more A24 films going forward.

We are working on creating a back up channel but that will take some time, the video quality will also be lower at 720p as that is what YouTube allows for downloading our own content back.
