I worked at Nintendo when the game was in development. Played the dev version roughly 1000 times, including the '4 Bonds' version. We didn't know that was getting stripped out, or I woulda taken footage of it.

If this is only you're second Bond movie George I'd be interested to see what you think of Jame's Japanese disguise in "You only live twice" lets just say Ooo boy 😅 I also have to say Sean Connery is the best 007.

Not only did Goldeneye revive interest in the franchise for a time, the game was indeed one of THE console multiplayer experiences to beat before Halo rolled around.

George hits the nail on the head, for me modern Bond is just not *fun* anymore. Sure it hasn't all aged that well but man it was good fun. Explosions, silly gadgets, great stunts.

Rob Church

I've never seen this movie but every location and dialogue came back to me. It's insane how much I played that game.

Ricardo Alanis

My favorite Bond girl is Michelle Yeoh in the next film, Tomorrow Never Dies.

Dan Holmes

Did they finish the austin powers series yet? if not time to do that!

Q, the old man giving Bond his gadgets, is a James Bond legend. Starting with the second Bond movie in 1963 he was in every Bond movie until Brosnan's third movie. Even in weaker Bond movies the stunts are what make the movies worth watching. Dalton's second and final movie License to Kill features a practical stunt with an 18 wheeler truck that is incredible, better than the truck flip in Dark Knight. As mentioned earlier, after the Moore era Bond went serious and dark with Dalton but the films did not do well, I think they were ahead of their time as both of Dalton's films and him himself are now regarded as among the best of Bond. Quick recap: Sean Connery 5 films George Lazenby 1 film Sean Connery back for another, his overall 6th Roger Moore 7 films Sean Connery during Moore's run did an "unofficial" Bond movie Timothy Dalton 2 films Pierce Brosnan 4 films Daniel Craig 5 films, the first series with true continuity

always loved the movie as a kid cause of the secret base that is actually real, it's a giant telescope called "Arecibo Observatory", sadly the telescope collapsed a few years ago, but they plan on rebuilding it even Tom Scott made a video about it :) the floating base and the clicking of the pen is so burned into my head and I don't know why :D

The NSF announced in 2022 that they are not going to rebuild the radio telescope at Arecibo due to budgeting concerns, although they will put an education center there instead. Also there are other instruments still at Arecibo, so it's still able to function as an observatory. Still very sad though. :(

The James Bond Film That Really Set The Stage/Mood For All Future Bond Tales Is The 3rd Film "Goldfinger" 1964... And it's A MUST To React To...
