oh its lowkey implied that jet died in Ba Sing Se after he was brainwashed n stuff. Two of his crew members stayed behind with him and I guess that was his last moment.

Yeah. Nickelodeon wanted to be real subtle at that point. Some people didn't initially realize that jet died during that situation.

Lilac Flute

In book 2 during "Zuko Alone" in the flashbacks, Ozai had a meeting with Azulon (Azula and Zuko were watching behind the curtains) about making him the next firelord instead of Iroh because Iroh lost his son in the siege of Ba Sing Se and Ozai saw that as a chance to be the next firelord. Then Azulon said something about how Ozai should feel the same pain of loosing a son (can't remember the quote rn) then Azula came into Zuko's room saying "father's going to kill, really, it's true", so Ozai saying she did treasonous things that night is what he was referring to. They knew about the invasion in book 2 when Azula and Co impersonated the Kyoshi warriors and the earth king just ran his mouth the minute they got there about the eclipse. Jet is also dead, the creators originally wanted the arrow Longshot was drawing to be aimed at Jet to end his suffering but Nickelodeon said it was too dark so they changed it to having the arrow point at incoming Dai Li. They poke fun at this later
