I've seen the Mei Mei Ui Ui situation explained as an expression of how jacked up jujutsu society is and that jujutsu sorcerers aren't inherently "good" people because they kill curses. It wasn’t necessary, but it was simply another example. I find it funnier to think Gege did this to troll all the fans simping over this woman 🤣🤣🤣 BTW it is controversial to like Mei Mei in the fandom lol People called Gege out for this character

No no. You’re completely right. It all goes back to how Gege doesn’t wanna write a predictable-plot armored-Shonen. And honestly? It’s real. Just because you kill Curses; doesn’t mean you’re a good person. It just means you have power and people need you. So they prolly are willing to put up with a lot. Like Ui Ui and Mei Mei. Who’s gonna stop her? No one lol Plus, in the world of Jujutsu Sorcery, it’s a game of liars and the more costly something is to you? The more powerful the outcome. Like how ‘useless Miwa’ made a binding vow. In exchange for releasing all of her power & potential and pouring it into a single strike against fake-Geto; she vowed to never swing a Katana again. And Brain-Guy just caught that shit. And now she can’t ever pick up or swing a sword for the rest of her life.

Yes! I have been waiting for this one! We not only got Mohito dying by fake Geto ...which he still didn't realize was never the original, real Geto but the shell of Geto being used by someonehd thought was Geto. Mahito screaming and said he should have known since he was made from humans before his death by fake Geto turning him into an orb and swallowing him..ew, that was hard to see in the manga let alone in anime...I wished his death was more painful by Yuji's hands but *kayne shrug* . Thank you, Panda and Choso for pointing this out...but we learn the brain is none other than the powerful sorcerer,Kenjaku. And that his blood and DNA was mixed with the men who fathered them... Choso's spirit dad, Noritoshi Kamo, and Kaori Itadori, who had stitches on his head like fake Geto. Making him Yuji's blood/bio/DNA dad( think Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne). Making Yuji Itadori the baby/youngest brother of Choso. Todo may be his brother in spirit but Choso is actual/literal blood brother. It explains his abilities, how he could control his body and Sakuna not being able to take total control over at first. Calling back flash at will... And Mei Mei and Ui Ui in bed together with the wine and wine cooler...yeah, Tasha, that was something even in the manga, ma'am. I'm so glad you got to this part. It's almost November 1st.

Tasha talks about Kamo during the reveal in the episode and after about him and the original woman who is Choso's mom along with the other Cursed kids and Yuji.

Oh yes. Embarrassed to admit, I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it lol And I am so sorry. No no no. I didn’t mean anything by it in any way. I’m thinking you got the reveal of K and the reveal of Norotoshi Kamo mixed up. THAT was the name we learned in this episode. K’s name doesn’t get revealed until chapter 145ish, I believe 🤔 And we are only on about 136 or 137 right now. But for real, I promise I’m not policing you or anyone. I know what it is like to get excited and then my brain gets mixed up cuz it’s so happy lol JJK is one of my favs. So I am totally with you on ALL of that hehe this show goated!!!
