So true, I just don't understand that. They both are just butt hurt. Alicent hates Rhaenyra because she wished she got to be rebel like Rhaenyra and choose who she slept with but she didn't get to do that, she was the goody two shoes who did everything her father wanted and she thought it meant she'd live a great happy life because she did her duty but that's not how life went. Alicent had to lay under a fat rotting King while Rhaenyra got nude with the hottest studs in Westeros and Ser Criston is just acting like a little girl. He's just upset that Rhaenyra didn't run away with him.

Good comment Tasha! I don't understand why it's Alicent's business that Rhaenyra's children aren't by Laenor, she's just jealous of Rhaenyra because Rhaenyra got to choose who she slept with and isn't afraid to go against the rules and usually no consequences for her actions. As to where Alicent always obeyed the rules, being the goody two shoes, she thought her life would've turned out perfect but instead she got married to an older fat man who she didn't choose, imprisoned in a castle and made to squeeze out his children and she's miserable because of it.

The reason Viserys was picked to be King is because he was the oldest grandson to King Jahaerys. Princess Rhaenys was the oldest and only child to Aemon Targaryen and Jocelyn Baratheon, and because she was female she wasn't chosen as the ruler.
