I believe historias dad is in-charge overall because he was in episode 1 with the king and it just seemed that he was running the show from this episode and the fact that eren and historia are with him and not the "king". I think they just don't trust historias dad which is why they want her to be Queen.

I'm so surprised with how fast they're moving. Isayama did say that he wanted to move S3 along to get to more of the action, but this is faster than I expected. Next episode is gonna be intense, though, if they get to where I'm thinking they'll get to. Can't wait to watch with y'all next week!!!!!!!!!
