Vaporous Bone Muncher - long ago an alchemist had an accident in his laboratory and transformed their assistant into a living green cloud. The alchemist was found the next day, as a bleached white pile of flesh on the floor. The Vaporous Bone Muncher is formed of flouric acid. This can penetrate human flesh and dissolve bones into jelly. The victim's skin is bleached white and suffers extreme wrinkling. Once it has absorbed sufficient calcium, the Vapour can form its own rough skeleton, and touch things with a pale and brittle skin, like limescale. In a dark light, or with disguise, it might even pass for human for a while.
