Patreon adding sales tax to some pledges (Patreon)

Hi all, 

This weekend, Patreon is set to announce that it will start charging sales tax on some pledges for some patrons. This is going to begin on July 1st. Not every patron will be affected by this, and not all to the same extent. For example, UK patrons are already paying VAT on their pledges, so nothing should change there. For US patrons, whether you pay sales tax and how much will depend on your state. I'm sure that Patreon's announcement will contain the full details. 

This is something that's outside of my control (I get the impression it's something that's outside of their control, really), and I'm sorry that it comes at such an inconvenient time. I really appreciate everyone who has pledged to support the show and I'm sorry that it will involve some additional expense.
