Patreon backer William brings you this special bonus episode all about golems. We've got a few more follow-up episodes (not about golems, but about monsters we've already done episodes on) in the pipeline, and I'm interested to see what people think of them. Too much golem? Or is there a lot of depth to explore in any one monster type?

Steve

I had characters attacked by a stained glass Jesus in Hellboy. A priest had learned to animate objects which looked like people and animals. He also did the same to a pterodactyl egg (see Adele Blanc-Sec, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Extraordinary_Adventures_of_Ad%C3%A8le_Blanc-Sec). He was annoyed at the Queen for some or other reason.

The stained glass golem you were thinking of was from Young Sherlock Holmes (1985) directed by Barry Levinson, produced by Steven Spielberg. It had a knight who came out of a stained glass window and was a early CGI character.

Yes! My wife pointed out that it was Young Sherlock Holmes while I was editing. I've never seen it, but she said it gave her nightmares when she was younger.
