Patron Deities, Episode 45: Itzamna and Mictlantecuhtli (Patreon)

Two more deities from the pantheons of pre-Conquest Mexico today, including the cheerful god of the dead and the pretty chill god of medicine and learning.

I think the festival where they bless the books would be a fun event to have in a campaign: "we need this codex, but it's kept under lock and key ... the only time it comes out in public would be the book blessing festival...".
