Kemono Friend, such a beautiful little anime...( ´ ∀ `)ノ～ ♥

A couple of years ago I came across this series while looking for some new Slice of Life to kill some time. I was immediately drawn to Seval-chan's cute design, but while reading the synopsis of the series I immediately noticed the fact that it was a 3D animated series.

I immediately thought about closing the tab and continuing with my search, but the image of Serval-chan was still fixed in my mind...

I don't consider myself a purist of animation, I believe that any medium can be used to tell an entertaining and exciting story, you just have to put your heart and effort into it, that is my only standard...!

Buuuuuuuut, at the same time and relying on past experiences, 3D anime tends to be pretty trash most of the time...

But in any case, I decided to take the risk and bite the bullet...!

Oh boy, it was so worth it...(๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ

Yeah, the animation kind of  sucks at moments, but everything else in the series is pure gold.

Not just because of the super cute and interesting designs of the animal girls, the story...! the damn story gets deep and psychological at some point.

I will not go into spoilers of any kind, but yeah...!

This cute little series managed to break something in me and catapulted itself to be one of my favorite series.

Although this does not mean that I am now a true believer in 3D animation, I do believe that Kemono Friend shines brightly regardless of the medium in which it was created.

It's because of all the heart and effort that went into creating it that the result was as fine a piece as it turned out to be...
