Hey people, greetings... ( ̄▽ ̄)/

I hope everyone is having a good time...!

This girl is most certainly having one...
(⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄) !

But yeah, seeing the stockings of this girl has made me think of something that I had always wanted to complain about.

Anime figures with real stockings... (  ಠ _ ಠ)

You do not hate them...???

I certainly do not like them, in fact the vast majority of figures with real clothes are a huge annoyance to me...

My main problem with them (the figures with real stockings) is that they always leave a horrible and huge seam on the back of the legs, this for a man of culture like me ( ass/ legs enthusiast ) is a crime that limits by 50% the posability of any figure.

It is painful to look at those seams ruining the entire line of the legs... {{ (>_<) }}

Painted stockings are just fine and the manufacturers have talented artists, so why bother with this useless gimmick... ლ(¯  ロ¯  "ლ) ?!

I am a big fan of  anime figures, I have a handful of them and I can tell you, if you are not very careful with your figures with real stockings you are signing to enter a world full of sh*t.

Because when those little things catch dust or get stained, you're going to have to wash them by hand...

And you do not even know how to distinguish between the softener and the bleach...

 Σ( ̄。 ̄ノ)

The second option is to go to your wife / mother and ask her to wash them for you ...

And this will inevitably trigger laughter and later questions about how much you spend on those "anime toys"...? (¬‿¬ )

And there's no easy way out of a situation like this...

My best guess is they think the appeal of stockings is the texture and they can't get that with painted-on? I dunno :p

That is really a good point...:D Complex textures as in fishnets are a pain in the butt to paint even for experienced craftsmen, but advances in digital printing and hydrographic techniques can solve this problem "visually". On the other hand if the problem is the texture to the touch, I have to say that it is not very recommendable to touch too much any figure that you want it to last a long time...;D
