Dun dun du dun dun du dun du dun du dun. That was funeral music if you couldn't figure it out. Because you know, Lelouche. He's dead now. Plan worked. And he's dead.

I think because I was expecting the unexpected because it's Code Geass, I didn't feel as much bitterness as I expected. Don't get me wrong! I'm still sad about it as I write! But, CG's done me worse, so I can stand it.

Lol. But, now I want to know what your ranking of Code geass is. Is it S tier to you too (I'm guessing yes), and why or why not? Also, more importatntly, please tell me if you know, does geass work after the death of the geaser?? I must know!

Ah the end. Still my favorite. It has this really classic vibe. I always really appreciated the part where Kallen mentioned imagining Lelouch off somewhere laughing about how everything went according to his elaborate scheme. Nunnally's deeper voice is definitely deliberate on her part to try and be more imposing as an opponent when facing her villainous big brother. It's kinda cute in a way. Like if Lelouch were to puff himself up to seem more physically intimidating. "Shirley got wasted" Eyyyyyy lol. Damnit Rolo... In regards to Lelouch vs Light, I would say Lelouch is better at strategy and Light is better at tactics. I think this is such a satisfying ending for many reasons, some of which being: because the main character wins, which we mostly like to see. The "villain" wins and actually takes over the world, which almost never happens much less coinciding with the "hero" winning. And the main character makes the ultimate sacrifice in a meaningful and impactful way. I loved seeing your group's reaction to this masterpiece. Glad you got to experience the new game + view of the story and catch the minor details. These were some of the best discussions I've seen take place among those who watch it together.

in a way Nunally doing the deep voice is the same thing that lelouch does as zero lol. Light vs Zero is a war that will never end. The best part is they would legit probably try to kill each other if they met. But i do like your assessment. Also yeah i love that there is a price to pay in the ending. Everyone loves a happy ending but this world teaches us that there is real pain and consequences to actions. Thank you for watching it with us ! It was alot of fun and we learned alot about how to do the reaction thing along the way.

Jeramiah was picking oranges in a farm. C2 was riding a cart full of hay which also belongs in a farm. To me it implied Jeramiah, Anya and C2 were all living in the same farm. At the start of Season 2 the blimp C2 used in Episode 1 to rescue Lelouch said Brittania Farms on the side. That makes me think inbetween Season 1 & 2 C2 was hiding out in Brittania Farms and returned to live there at the end.

i read that we see a picture of her in the credits looking at a village in the distance and that could be her original home village. either way im happy just knowing she is feeling a bit better than we found her. I suppose Jeremiah feels fulfilled having finally served the family he was loyal to in the end. Anya is probably just happy to have memories.
