Hello Patrons,

How are you all? I hope the cold, wet weather (if you're based in the UK) isn't dampening your spirits. However, it's the perfect opportunity to binge-watch our Tank Chats! It has been gratifying to see a positive response to our content, especially TANKFEST and the Bottom 5 with Rob Bell.

Recently I have been working with David Willey and David Fletcher on several different Tank Chats that will be released over the next few weeks, plus working on my photography skills through product shoots for the online shop.

The Museum also held their second wellbeing event, On Track. Tank Museum staff could join visitors, including the military and emergency services, and take part in workshops, hear from speakers, and learn about mindfulness and resilience.

My favourite exhibitor was a company called The Ranch Weymouth which focuses on the benefits animals have on our wellbeing and provides services from animal petting sessions to goat yoga to promote good mental health. I even got to make friends with a corn snake and a gecko! He had the cutest face, and I was in love.

But it wasn't all about finding my dream pet! I did have an essential job to do. The Media Team were in charge of the On Track Livestream. The event was split between three lecture rooms; they had to be separately streamed on the On Track YouTube Channel and I was in charge of filming the main lecture stage in the Cold War Hall.

Even though I was operating a camera for most of the day, I was still able to hear some of the inspirational speakers like Mark Bowra from the Bowra Foundation. One of my favourite talks was about the science behind how nature is beneficial to our mental and physical health.

After the fast pace of TANKFEST and the Summer Holidays, it was a much-needed boost for the whole team, and the atmosphere was so calm. I learnt a lot from it and would recommend checking out some of the talks on YouTube.

It seems like many colds are going around at the moment, so I hope you're all keeping safe! Once again thank you for supporting The Tank Museum and my Patreon Funded Internship.

Best

Fantastic, thank you.

Excellent stuff. Ambition level for a pet though, surely a Panther or Tiger? Packs of lots of detailed photos of AFV’s would be really popular with modellers who are constantly after authentic photos of the models they are making. Just a thought.
