Hello all, I hope ORomance is working well for you.

It's just about May, which means I'm about to start work on a new mod. What kind of mod? Your choice!

Cast your vote down below. Patrons in the $15 tier will receive 3 additional votes. If you're in this tier, please leave a comment, message me on Patreon, or ping me on discord with how you want your extra votes added, and I'll add them onto the final count. Whichever mod wins the poll is the one that I will be setting out to do next month.

Poll Options

Scale tool - Live adjustments to scale and position during scenes with the ability to save your position and have it reapply automatically
Sound overhaul - a complete rework of OSA's body smacking sounds with more and higher quality sounds. Does not include reworking voices or voicepacks, it's for body and contact sounds, and kissing sounds, and so on.
Animation porter python script - A tool to automatically port in SL animations, feed in the animation and it will ask you some questions about the animation and generate a pack.
NPC on NPC mod - NPCs have sex lives and you can stumble across them having sex sometimes
Music - set your own custom music to play during scenes
Bed sounds - beds will make various creaks and other noises when a scene happens on one
Body shape overhaul (warning, may take up to 2 months) - A rewrite of the not-well-known mod Bodygen. With this mod you will be able to dump bodyslide presets into a folder and in game they will automatically be distributed to all NPCs with proper weight

Poll will close on May 1st and the results will be revealed shortly after

I voted for the animation porter tool. It sounds useful for porting animations.

The sounds bother me the most, but I'm definitely intrigued at the idea of being able to auto apply body shapes like that. Would it require outfit regeneration too? How far does it extend, i.e. could the same technique automatically distribute certain overlays to NPCs based on criteria?

Yes, I can distribute overlays too. After making that mod I want to port my old opubes project which does random pubic hair pattern distribution LOL. You would need to build bodies and outfits with a special preset in bodyslide to get the distribution to work. After that, will work beautifully

Please give 2 votes to #3, 1 to #1 and 1 to #5

Here's an idea, Personality Dialogue Check, So along with complement/insults their can be one where the NPC has an opinion the player can answer truthfully (For Immersion Purposes), The NPC will have their own views and agreements/Disagreements based on what the Player answers, It can take alot of work since each npc will have different things to say and opinions, but if the player answers with something they like, it improves your relation with them. Maybe something basic and evolve over time to add more NPC's and added dialogue. Maybe even take them out on a date at the local in and meet up with them, then have the dialogue check conversation. This was first implemented with Isobel so far from who i met from Interesting NPCs if you have met her before from that mod. She had speech checks that increased their liking to you or the date would end but before you may not get the date at all if you failed earlier in meeting her. Maybe an integration with the mod author of 3DNPC.

Another idea for ORomance, NPC's have personal likes and dislikes of what you gift to them, Based on what they are and/or maybe their backstory, For example: you like a blacksmith and want to gift them something. So you wonder maybe they will like a specific type of armor or weapon of a certain metal or maybe it doesn't matter. So you give them a glass sword maybe because they always wanted to hold one) and then the gifting becomes successful. But if you gave them a gem or precious stone it could be no response. Lets say you gave them something they already made or something like a mammoth tusk it would be a negative reaction from them. Something like this could give us a reason to find something for a special someone and incentivizes you to look or craft something for them . It can possibly just alter chances with them (during the gifting of a specific item) if you give them something they like, Something like a Bonus(they like the item) or Penalty(dislike) on the current chances you have set. Might incentivize people to not mess with increasing the chances setting to max,

Good idea, was going to add this into OR originally but ran out of time. when i do an old-mod-revisit month, will definitely add something like this
