The Coins system (Patreon)

I would like to say thank you to all patrons for your support and also welcome new patrons here. I know the Coins system may be annoying and confusing but trust me. This system is the best for you. Let me explain:

1/ Because I make animation regarding what I was inspired by at that time, so my video may not be for everyone. Some like Kevin The Octopus and others like The Special Box. With the Coins system, you are allowed to choose what video you want to use Coins to get. If not with the Coins system, you will be forced to get the video you don't like or lose all the access on Patreon.

2/ Flexible on your financial situation. If your financial situation changes, you can remove your pledge at any time and don't worry about losing your benefits. The amount of unused Coins you have will remain here for you to use whenever you like.

3/ Can collect Coins monthly. Let's say you want The Sauna Fun Time video but you can't afford it right now, then just choose a small Tier such as Gold or Silver Tier. Each month same date, you collect more Coins until one day you have enough for the video.

I hope you understand why my Patreon Page is different than others. My videos need several months to finish so the Coins system allows me to have time to work on long videos.

Anyway, here are answers to some common questions I get asked a lot lately:

Where do I access my rewards?

Your email. Within 24 hours after you process your pledge, I will send you the reward to your email.

How do I watch your videos?

This Page doesn't have stream services so you need to download the video to your computer or watch through the links I sent. I do not post the video here on Patreon.

I paid already, why can't I watch your videos?

Each video required a different amount of Coins to get the download link. Be sure to have enough Coins for it. Furthermore, each Tier gives you a different amount of Coins, please read the Tier benefits information for more details.

How do I use Coins?

I record your Coins here on my computer and let you know the total amount of Coins you have every time you process your pledge and the time you use them via email. To use your Coins, just contact me (via email or Patreon message) to let me know the name of the videos you want. I will check your Coins and send you the download link if you have enough. Or you can join the poll to choose the videos you want. I will occasionally check poll results and send download links to patrons who have enough Coins.

If I remove my pledge, do I lose my Coins?

No. The Coins are yours no matter what. However, if you remove your pledge, you can't access the Patreon posts anymore. But still, you can keep posted through Discord channels and Twitter. The Coins have no expiration date so don't worry.

Where can I watch your old videos?

All my old videos and clips are in Derek's Archive folder. The link was sent to your email along with your monthly reward.
