Hey Fam!

First, I must say... I LOVE THIS SHOW!! The highlight of the episode for me was definitely D'Artagnan Sulu! This episode explored people's inner desires and personalities. It was fun to see Spock deal with his human emotions (he looked so sad!!!) and to see Kirk's true thoughts on love and women!

This show entertains me to no end! I can't wait to see what our crew does next!

This is a good example of what I meant about character continuity from one episode to another: Kirk's feelings toward Yeoman Rand; Spock's repression of emotions; Sulu being adorable. In addition, there is a very nice 'plant' at the very end of the story, when they inadvertently discover (because of emergency repowering of the ships engines) how to travel anywhere in time; and Kirk suggests that they may need to use it some day. Bear that in mind :) (Again, it's all part of the growing continuity) Speaking of continuity: there is a direct sequel to this episode; but it's in a completely different Star Trek series. If you were ever to consider reacting to Star Trek: The Next Generation, (which, if you did, would ensure that I would remain a subscriber to your channel for years!) you would be able to watch it VERY early on, as it's only the second episode :) The Naked Time is a fun story; and I love how we get to see all the characters (they're all given something to do); as well as the crew of the Lower Decks. The only reason I don't watch it very often is that ANNOYING Kathleen song!!

Yes! I totally see the continuity you were talking about in this episode! I love that you mentioned Sulu being adorable, BECAUSE HE TOTALLY IS!!! As for Star Trek TNG, I'm totally watching it too! That was actually my main reason for starting TOS. After watching Picard season 3, I felt like I was missing something as a viewer by not knowing the full backstory of Star Trek. So I plan to rewatch everything until Discovery. If you guys want me to, I may do live watches of Discovery (and all the other Star Trek I've seen) once I reach those seasons 😊 Thank you for your comment and your excitement! It makes this that much more fun for me!! And yes, that Kathleen song was SOOOOO ANNOYING!!! 😂
