Hi fam!

We are back with another The Golden Girls reaction. Today, we are watching Sisters of the Bride. What a fun episode! We get Miles back in this one! He comes over to introduce his fiancé to his beloved sister. Unfortunately, Blanche is not as open minded as she claims to be and doesn't take the news very well. Elsewhere in the episode, Rose is excited about the prospect of winning an award for her charity work! This was another great and ground-breaking episode! I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I did!

Not as timeless as we’d all want but you can’t ask for much more when you have this much brilliance on display. This came out in 1991! At the height of the AIDS crisis and tons of hate and stereotypes going around. Lovely episode still relevant to this very day. I LOVE Sophia’s scene with Blanche in the kitchen towards the end.

This is one of my top 3 episodes of the series, and it has my favorite scene in the series (the kitchen dialogue between Sophia and Blanche about marriage and commitment). There are a few other moments in this episode that stick in my head, too: Dorothy muzzling Sophia before she can answer "And he'd bend over backwards for me," and Blanche yelling "Fire!" at the awards banquet. But I agree that Sophia is the MVP here.
