Following the delay of Starfield and unspecified slip of Forza Motorsport, there is much discussion surrounding Xbox’s self-binding comments to begin their 2022 summer showcase. “All the games you’re seeing today will be out within the next 12 months.” Is that lining up to be true with three months to remain? More importantly, is Xbox’s arbitrary deadline more important than the quality of the content? The Dukes sit down for a meatier episode of Ultimate sift through nearly a year’s worth of releases.

Definitely give this a listen. FWIW, quality takes precedence over a deadline.

If Microsoft will take note, and stop putting dates on things until they are well into the polishing phase, All the smoke they are getting will cease to exist. They just have to learn the hard way. Great topic Dukes.

Avery Illies

Thanks for the ep as always Dukes.

Adam Barnes

Duke is literally just a Microsoft excuses show 🤣

Al Rodriguez

This episode goes hand and hand with the PyschOdssesy documentary.

There were reports that starfield was in development hell and with the reports that Bethesda games studios was hit with layoffs blame absolutely falls on ms for the delay

Piston Pants

Matt Booty might need to go.

PRETENTIEUX

Glad I didn’t buy a Xbox this generation. Sick of waiting for good First-Party-AAA-Games for Single-Players. Xbox-One was my last one, until they deliver.

Tonys_Always_Write

Honestly I think with the size of the first party there just needs to be multiple Matt Booty's over a smaller subset of studios.

Audio and video usually go up at the same time but video always shows up for me in my feed after.

If you have a capable PC then no reason to buy an Xbox. I’m not a PC guy so I bought mine mainly for Game Pass and the future as well.
