Destin Legarie is very easily one of the hardest working and most industrious people I've ever known. On today's episode of Fireside Chats, we talk all about that. Why are we driven to work so hard? And what costs come alongside our admitted workaholism? We touch on lots of other issues, too, including online harassment and abuse, the grind of being a creative-minded person, and the unfortunate loss of normalcy in the social space.

Mm, work to live. Don't live to work.

Funny you say that, I had a similar reaction at first. We love you Destin!

I really enjoyed the openness of this discussion.

I remember following Destin back when he was at Screwattack with his show "Hard News". Can't believe I'm listening to both you guys on a podcast years later.

GREAT conversation! If only the world had more Colin and Destins!

Bud, great conversation. I don't know Destin but I feel like I kinda do now. I hope you do another chat with him one day.

Colin, this is one of my favorite podcasts yet. I never had an attachment to Destin so I went in with a clean slate (I've seen plenty of his work, I mean I don't know him as a dude) and I really appreciate his candor here. You guys had a great conversation, and I respect Destin's stance to try and be more honest and open despite pressure from outside forces. I'd love to have you two back together soon, as you alluded to. Also, if I have one complaint card to throw down, 47:00 is just not enough Fireside Chats. I need an hour of Fireside, MINIMUM. <3 Much love as always.

Finally catching up on my podcast. Great chat again! I’ve followed Destin for a while and don’t always agree with him, but it’s always clear he knows his stuff and believes what he’s saying. The internet sucks what can you do. On the other hand all the comments on this Patreon have been great (for the most part). Fact based debates and support even when people disagree. This is just about the last place I post online now. Keep up the great work Colin and the community!

Really loved this. Never really paid much attention to Destin on IGN shows, but what a great human being. Colin you are killing it with the fireside chats. My favourite series of podcasts ever are the a conversation with colin was right just before you left KF. Brilliant content, and the firesides are up there also. Would love to hear a fireside with Greg Miller or Nick Scarpino. Preferably Nick, could 2018 be the year???

Colin, thanks for bringing Destin on. I knew who he was but never really watched any of his videos or heard any of his opinions. Seems like a super genuine guy. Really enjoy 'getting to know' others through Fireside Chats.

Thank you so much. I really love doing Fireside Chats. I reached out to Greg, whether to talk publicly or privately. Ball is in his court. Nick is obviously welcome, too.
