This video shows how to paint the Axe belonging to the Chaos Champion from the Slaves to Darkness army box. The axe head is painted in NMM steel to a display level standard with coloured reflections. The trim of the axe is painted in NMM Gold.

The following paints were used:

Games Workshop: Mournfang Brown, Rhinox Hide, XV-88, Balor Brown, Barroth Blue

Vallejo: Ice Yellow, Neutral Grey, German Grey, Black

P3: Morrow White

Hello Richard, do you have any tips for using ice yellow. I always find i end up with a chalky texture finish. Is it just super thin? Thanks and great video!

You asked about the length of the videos. I assume a lot of people would like to have a video of you explaining "basic" things. Like: "Paint highlights towards the highlights and shadows towards the shadow" You said something like that and that is probably an important hint tha people would like to have in a summary video.

A similar colour is Dorn Yellow by Games Workshop. It does need to be thinned quite a bit though. Really, for any colour this white there is a good chance it will be a bit chalky. you have to thin it and do more coats.
