Here is the fur cloak video, hopefully with improved audio! let me know if you think. 

The next video should be up very soon as I need to get the model finished for a painting competition next week!

Jings, this looks incredible! I wonder if could pick your brain about fur. I recently bought a psychic murder-kitty from Warcry and I want to create a kinda jaguar spot fur pattern. At what point would it be best to paint on the freehand spots?

Paint on the spots near the very beginning to get the shape, then you can add texture afterwards.
