Agreed that it could have been 20 mins shorter. But super fun and different, it's difficult to stand out in todays world and this film did it with aplomb

I see where Ash is coming from, but I do agree that if you cut out a lot of the wackiness it would have been a pretty generic movie (although with some great acting none the less). I think they could have had less focus on those two specific weird universes and added maybe a couple more, or as you said shorten it a bit, but they where part of what set the movie apart from other movies.

Trying to make a sense out of everything is what limits people from opening their minds to go way beyond what they're used to, seeing every detail of a story and enjoying it.

You guys really did not get this movie, and I understand why, you kept talking over the explainy-bits. I recommend watching this again, without having to perform for an audience. I've seen it 6 times now since it came out. Amazing movie.

This movie appeals to a certain kind of mind set. It talks about some deep concepts in some interesting ways. If your someone who already enjoys these mind bending concepts this movie really delights that part of you. If your someone uncomfortable by such unknowns and lack of meaning, this movie is gonna punch you in the dick over and over about how little you truly understand the world around you. Like Ash thought the hot dog fingers were too wacky~? I mean why do humans have hair only on their head despite living in all types of climate? Why do we walk the way we do? Why do we do anything the way we do. The more you look at things the less they make sense, and some delight in this experience, others hate it thoroughly. I feel we all have more insight into which Ash and Hannah are.
