WIP. WaB. Battle backgrounds. Ideas (Patreon)

For a long time I wanted to paint custom some backgrounds for battle screens in different locations in game. Several weeks ago I started the work :D Right now I'm working on other stuff, but I think it can be interesting to look at the early stage of the work.

This time I started with some loose drafts in my sketchbook. 

On the picture, on the right side you can see existing background from the game. These are standard backgrounds (battlebacks) from RPG Maker VX Ace. I think they are very cool, so I want  to make something matching.

On the left side you can see fragments from Calm's works. His backgrounds are great, so I put these fragments on the canvas as inspiration and references. Also there are a few photos of real life landscapes from reference packs. 

And in the center you can see photos of my sketches. I put some colors on the top one.. and than I got distracted by drawing huge  boobs :D
