Crazy I started my membership for mainly just the movies hard to get into a long long TV series sometimes haha but I've seen like every Stranger things reactions on YT which are great but not full length great haha so I guess I missed the time for the voting poll for it but still can't believe we get the watch it all together haha and I kind of like that Asia has seen it before cause bj cracks me up with all his different guesses and Asia is standing tuff with no spoilers haha.

Woohoo! Finished Iron Man and now onto Stranger Things! Thank you!! Edit: Asia, I think Nancy knew they were listening to her phone call with Barb’s mom about where to meet so she and Jonathan would get taken to the lab on purpose and then she could record what the doctor was saying about the gate and Barb’s death. Maybe after the call she reached out to Barb’s mom somehow and that’s why she wasn’t at the park.

I never thought she knew that but it did seem odd that Barbs mom never showed up yet they were surrounded by the weirdos staring at them while they were at the park. I figured they were there because they tapped in on the phone call.. Bur what ever happen to Barbs mom? I guess we’re left to wonder.. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Like a precious comment above, Jonathan & Nancy set that all up so they could get taken to the lab so she could get the recording. As far as Barb’s mom…idk why she didn’t show up. Or maybe, Nancy got the park earlier so they could taken before the mom showed up. I never really thought about it before. Poor Barb’s mom ☹️ I am loving rewatching this show with y’all. It’s sooooo good !!! Season 4 is by far my favorite!!! I can’t wait for the 🎸 reaction 🎸

The Duffer Brothers are SOOO meticulous...that the episode of "Cheers" on the TV (when Hopper is grounding El) actually aired on Thursday, November 1, 1984 at 9pm. That was the day after Halloween, the exact date this episode takes place. That is AMAZING attention to detail.
