One of the greatest movies about high school, great choice! I graduated in the 90's but this is a pretty accurate representation of my high school days, same types of people, same types of parties. I don't even know if high school kids have keggers anymore.

Rio Mendoza

You'd be a lot cooler if you did.

Lewsifer

You gotta check out Almont Famous (2000) same classic rock vibe as dazed and confused. Also for an Underrated comedy gem u have to watch Detroit Rock City (1999)

shawn boyce

Think about how many people are out the f***in right now.🤣 I was defensive end in high school but, didn't get along with most of my teammates so we almost never hung out. My girlfriend in high school was 9 years older than me too so hanging out with high school kids was strictly business 🌲🌲🌿🍃

Michael Lynch

This movie is so freaking iconic. I think the biggest star of the movie is the soundtrack. Yeah Asia was definitely a hall monitor. She was turning everybody in. You better watch yourself BJ.

Kingshawukee

Adam Goldberg was in Saving Private Ryan.

LionBro

Are you going to keep watching Psych?

Wayne Polk

Classic!! Glad you guys enjoyed it!

Wayne Polk

A couple more classics you guys should check out.. Cooley High Can't Buy Me Love

Classic 90's flick, shot right there in the great state of Texas!

Rebecca Karsner

Man!!! Remember the days of not having cell phones and just livin in the moment!!!!! I think technology broke society 🤦🏼‍♀️ Keep up the great content! Been watching you guys on YouTube for years but was always too shy to leave a comment! ☺️

Before email/texts the internet and cell phones…. Back when teens knew how to LIVE! I wasn’t a teen till the 80’s but did that stuff on the last day of school too. The only difference was everyone was up for grabs. Meaning we water ballooned and hazed upper classmen right back too! We for sure hung out at malls, arcades, had parities, cruised in the cars, did things to get in trouble, etc. You should also check out the movie Everybody Wants Some. I believe it is created by the same guy who created this film. It’s about college and follows the baseball team. I think that one is even funnier and charming too.

Patty Estrada

I love this movie (100% a stoner movie)...they were having a good time in the 70's. Maybe you've seen Joey Lauren Adams in "Big Daddy", she plays Adam Sandler's love interest. BJ, do you watch "Yellowstone"? Cole Hauser comes out in it. Or maybe you've seen him in "Goodwill Hunting". Ya'll should watch "Almost Famous", it takes place in the early 70's. It's loosely based on the directors (Cameron Crowe) time as a writer for Rolling Stone Magazine. It's sort of his love letter to rock'n'roll.

Charlotte Drolet

Asia acting like Stanley about the grass. 🤣

Rose Dallman

Sneaky! Posting a new movie reaction AND Stranger Things! I think it must be my birthday or Christmas!

JJ Carlisle

How yall gonna post one of my all time favorite movies on a day I dont have time to watch? Lol Well looks like a wake n bake kinda morning for tomorrow 😁

Melissa

One of my favorites. And one of the best movie soundtracks ever.

Rio Mendoza

What a great reaction and movie I enjoyed this so much. The music the movie both of your reactions. So good I can't wait to see what the next film you will be reacting to will be. Thank you thank you it made my night before I have to go to work. I'm gonna watch the Stranger things reaction till I have to go. Wooohooo you guys rock.

Michelle C

This was totally my high school days I graduated in 1979 and I can name people I know that were like so many of the characters. It was all about smoking keg parties in the woods hanging out at the amusement center playing foosball and pool and air hockey riding around in the cars listening to good music. Plus this is Matthew McConaughey's first movie and one of Ben affleck's also.

Michelle C

Also the reason they picked on Mitch was because his older sister asked them not to lol

Roxanne LIL CRIP Kemmerer

I didn't grow up in the 70s but I was a Junior the yr this movie came out and y'all were right...... my friends and I would get messed up and watch this damn movie so many days after school! My parents both worked evenings so my brother and I got into ALL KINDS OF TROUBLE at the house lolol. Growing up in a small town we pretty much spent the wknds and summers doing the same shit..... cruising around town, spending hours at the pool hall, and looking for any place we could party and get into trouble!🤣🤣 I'm so glad y'all reacted to this movie, it brought my old ass back to some REALLY fun times. "Check ya laaaaater" ✌🏻

Andrew Clifton

"I love these highschool girls. I get older and they stay the same age."

Miss Melissa

Yes!!! So glad you guys did this one!! The best “hangout movie” ever!! No real plot, no twists, no stress… just kids being kids with no real worries. It’s not even that super funny, it’s just carefree. Makes me so nostalgic for those days though I wasn’t even alive in the 70’s. I related a lot to Pink (the guy that didn’t sign the pledge) because I had my main friend group, but I also flitted between other groups, theater kids, band kids, stoners, preps… I also really relate to his anti-authoritarian feelings too especially at that age. ✌️💕✨

Heather McCullough (Beantoes12)

This movie makes me so happy. I was 6 in 1976 and this movie reminds me of my Aunts, and Uncles. I love this movie.....

You guys just keep hitting with the Bangers, Nice list

daisy

Great reaction to this cult classic! I was in high school in the early to mid nineties and was like that one girl that was friends with many different people in different cliques.

Elizabeth DeMerie

This is actually what we did in the 90's, way before cell phones....we would drive around looking for our friends, listening to great music, just to all meet up in the woods (park) and drink beer and smoke pot.... it was a much easier life lol

Anonymous

Thanks so much guys for doing this movie!! One of my faves! The soundtrack is awesome and it takes me back to my childhood, I was 9 in 1976 ,seeing all of the cars and clothes and just the whole feel of going back in time. Now I was too young to be like the teens in this movie I was a teen in the radical 80s lol but what a great time to grow up in! Y`alls reaction ROCKS!

Michelle C

Y'all have reacted to some of the songs on the soundtrack but you should go to the soundtrack and do your music reactions to it.

Dan Gershgol

I totally forgot Anthony Rapp (Tony) was in this. He was an original cast member of RENT playing the character Mark. Got to see it in New York summer of 96 when it was new.

Anonymous

I forgot Ben Affleck was in this movie. Enjoyed this reaction.

Anonymous

I forgot Milla Jovovich was in this movie.

pkleo73

WOOHOO!! FINALLY!!! Cant wait to get into this with y'all!! Perfect way to end a day! This. you guys and a little smoky treat! ;) And unless youve watched all the Kevin Smith movies, I dont know where you would have seen that girl with the voice. Glad you guys watched it and enjoyed it as much as we did. Thnx guys!

Eamonn Locke

Cole Hauser was in ‘2 Fast 2 Furious’ ‘Good Will Hunting’ and most notably he plays Rip Wheeler in ‘Yellowstone’

Christopher Dietz

Was so my high school days. Good times, good times. I did much of what they did in this movie. The partying and all. Amazing what I got away with. LMAO.
