Let’s go!!!! I been waiting for this since the game ended last night🤣

Yooo! Alc used my term! “Ayeshas Pleasure Palace” ayyy

Anonymous

Man the jokes. Love it!!! Interesting crossroads for the dubs and Steph's ego!

Anonymous

The return of the "magic feather" works as usual but if we don't get some feathers stuffed down the back of Steph's shorts how long can he continue to endure fall after fall?

Anonymous

Slipped on wet tile and bruised my sacrum 6 months back, didn't feel right for almost 2 months. They're different spots but I assume it's a similar sensation.

Anonymous

I kind of hurts to say but I wouldn't be surprised if we let Oubre walk at the end of the season. In a league where scoring efficiently matters more than ever- 44/30/70 splits are atrocious from a starting wing ( and would have been bad even 5 years ago). His low IQ/poor passing doesn't fit this team and IMO his defense is a little overrated. I like Oubre's personality but we probably would have been better without him this year.

Great game. Love the commentary.👍

Something I didn't consider till today is the value of all our assets and current players if we look good and make the playoffs. Yea if we tank we get an additional lottery pick, but Wiseman, Oubre, Pascal, Wiggs, Dray, Come the off-season it might be a night and day difference how the league perceives those names if we take a team 7 games in the first round, rather than tanking it. Just a thought

Draymond ''Looked more like a dog arching his back to take a shit'' Green.

Yehudah Raphaelsohn

They ran the PnR way more this game. Was that just because of the Bulls personal or were they trying to finally simplify things for Wiseman.

Tin foil hat time(and no I don't actually believe it, just a funny thought exercise): at the end of the game Bob Meyers was the first one to find Steph in the tunnel. It was a short cut on the broadcast but you could see them talking as well as Bob grabbin Steph's trap reassuringly like he was a little guy... Here's was Bob said, (evil genius voice) "thanks for faking the injury more, and even playing it off, now we can rest you and complete the tank job." Playing Steph was a way to improve the optics on sitting him, as well as to prove that they did "all they could" to make the playoffs. Alright that was dumb as shit, but what if? 🤣 Either way I think that was one of the best games our guys have played so far. The fact that we had 0 fouls in the first quarter was huge. Also to see Wiseman stay out of foul trouble was refreshing. He just needs to start to develop the concept of which bigs are going to out power you / which ones will out finesse you. He bit on ever single Vuc pump fake. That should be something that comes with time. Seeing Steph play was cool, but I think with how much pain he was in there was 0 reason to play him. Maybe for the first half but as soon as he fell on it he should've been done. Here's the deal, would we rather the Warriors make the playoffs and have a chance of having more guys get beat up? Or would we rather continue the tank? I think a soft tank should be the way we go, as long as guys don't stop buying in.

athleticalchemy

I was at the park watching my dog struggle with one and it just appeared clear as day..the Dray arch

athleticalchemy

haha sheeeit! Im not even mad at it...JW jumps when he shouldn't and stay down when he shouldn't im sure its driving him crazy. Lets see if he can get thirsty for more boards and blocks off this game

Russ

Wiseman was playing much better this game. I think Vucevic was looking to fit in and not dominate the shot chart but still Wiseman really played much better, this was a game one would expect from a 2nd pick that is Sashimi Raw. And Alc I know you like the one arm cock back for some dunks but Paddles has no chance holding on to the ball with only one Paddle, no chance. I like that they stopped feeding him in the low post, he's not ready for that, some day maybe but not yet. He likes to shoot set shots, with enough of them I think he can do that pretty well. Just giving him credit for playing better. Oh and this game really showed that Steph completely changes this team, as much or more than LeBron changes the Lakers, and that's a lot.

I've had the same injury that Steph has from snowboarding, and it hurts like a bitch. Other than it hurting, it doesn't really have long lasting effects. But I agree with you Alch, the problem is that Steph might injure something else trying not to land on that thing.

Maybe Draymond's 3 lookin like a poodle getting ready to hump someones foot ... ok thats enough Great to see Wiseman getting some aggression. I was gettin worried he didnt have it in him. Yeah baby, Just keep it up James. Go hard. Like Oubres aggression, but more and more its looking like Brad troll at the rim. I dont see the team awareness with Kelly. If you aint assisting , you better be as good as MJ; he aint as good as MJ. Hes got to go. (ps I like him, hes just got to go). In relation to Curry's tailbone: unfortunately the physical therapy that is given in pro leagues is not up to the science of physics yet. Very simply, with an injury such as Curry suffered, there is contraction and protection at the sacrum/tailbone area and this manifests as stuck energy and muscle contraction. The physical therapy done to fix this problem is usually limited to the physical universe and negates any energetic component to healing. Unfortunately this can lead to long lasting problems, that could be very quickly rectified using the proper healing modalities. Such is our limited awareness, even in the realm of high end sports where one would think the powers that be would be looking for every advantage. Hopefully Steph will find a good hands on healer, craniosacral therapist, acupuncturist, shaman... But more importantly, the tailbone sets the root of the neurological patency. If stuck in a confirmation, proprioceptively, it like a dogs tail stuck to one side. There are still many nerve connections in the tailbone, as one can tell from impact to this area. I hope that this is part of the awareness of the medical staff, particularly going forward, but me doubts it.

Owner didn't pay 80 million for oubre to not chase wins, honestly that was just Steve Kerr making excuses for not playing Steph enough. Wouldn't be surprised if he got a little talk from the front office after claiming they're not contending.

Anonymous

my brother and i always say damion lee always looks/plays like drunk jack sparrow in the pirates of the caribbean movies. he's always off balance but rarely turns it over somehow

athleticalchemy

Interesting so there is trauma that will possibly have to be worked out of the muscle mind connection not just healing of the bone.

athleticalchemy

He might be able to play with it back there and pose but a quick spike for sure.. kid looked better. I appreciate your positivity on it

I think not trading Oubre, despite giving signals b4 the deadline, Is gonna bite the Warriors. I noticed since the Kings game that some of the Warriors players have been playing for themselves. It is to the point where Oubre has lost all the progress he has made this year. As for the JTA situation, the only explanation I have is that JTA said something to Kerr's face, bc it is clear that Kerr gives a bit too much rope to Bazemore, and Nico to a lesser extent, at times while JTA does all the right things and still gets no run.

Jerry Heverly

A sign of the future? That hustle rebound from Wiseman mid third quarter was a thing of hope. Yes, JTA should get some of Oubre's minutes, but it isn't fair to disparage his defense, which is terrific, but he costs more than he produces. That's a roster spot that will belong to Minnesota's lottery pick. I hadn't realized how much Bazemore was central to that fourth quarter surge. We should hire whoever it was who ran their draft this year. To find a guy like that on Florida State's bench, remarkable.

Ezra Abbey

wiggins continues to make good reads and passes, super exciting, especially his and wiseman's devloping chemistry, that's a scary pick and roll in a year or two

Gsw4L

I've been telling about Oubre since day one. Westbrick type of player. Tunnel vision low iq

Anonymous

Thanks for the breakdown....eventhough you're a bit under the weather! 👍

Keith Reynolds Jr.

While me and my cousin watched we saw Oubre as well man. He can't go out there refusing to pass. I think it makes him look worse to potential teams.

John Pettus

Wiggs needs to tighten the handle to really thrive and drive that PNR

Vulacior

You keep referencing hooping yourself, how tall are you, Alch?

athleticalchemy

It’s weird you hear him speak and it sounds like he gets it. Then he gets out there and it’s all based off emotions. That’s what I see

Anonymous

overall, once again sobering to realize how much this team needs Steph to gel. It's an achilles' heel, IMO. Seems like when he's on the floor everyone else hesitates to shoot, as you noted. (Execpt Oubre :) Wish Wiseman could bloom into that strong second option sooner rather than later.

Jansen E

An overreaction from me: I really hope Wiseman doesnt turn into Damian Jones. All the physical tools but a "slow processor" to learn basically anything. Obviously Wiseman has way more skill and already is a better player than Jones will ever be. But if Im strictly talking mentally, I hope Wiseman actually learns and develops. Because if he just turns into DJ....itll be a sad day.

Anonymous

You are right about Oubre, After the trade deadline his attitude seems to be all about getting his, and his comments about "I know I can do more than come off the bench", only cement that fact". Myers should have traded him for a better system fit, even if the options were less talented and athletic - there ain't no KOJ in team. The only logic I can see from the front office is that this seasons only hope is too play it safe, maybe slide into the playoffs and hope that team chemistry gels enough to make a little noise against the top seeds. If the Chef misses any more time they should just tank for a late lottery pick, young guy dev season 2, and healthy vets for another push in 21-22. It is painfully obvious that without Curry they are not even competitive.

Anonymous

Oubre feels like a goner and i can’t wait!!! I know now how is the Westbrook experience....It’s a delusional spiral...At the end of the day,the man is out for himself. You respect his motivation and move on from him.i need a sign and trade tho...

Anonymous

loved to see the bit of attitude from Wiseman after the last block; overall, more aggressive. "have his toes ever met" had me LOL...solid effort.

AK

loved how you were trading Oubre after every play sequence. Pretty sure a lot of people are tired of him too. Hands up for those who would have taken the deal with the Nets for Dinwiddie if its actually real?

Anonymous

Hey Alch would you have done the Oubre for Dinwiddie trade? In hindsight, they should’ve done it right? Kelly has the john collins syndrome I feel like plus s healthy Spen Dwid is legit scorer off the bench, a role which he fully embraced in Brooklyn ?

Anonymous

It seemed like Oubre was playing for the team in the first half of the season but now he's playing for his next contract. It feels like he's all but gone at this point. You can't not like a guy who plays hard every night but I also don't feel too sad if he doesn't come back next season.

Yehudah Raphaelsohn

Westbrook's issue is hardly tunnel vision right now. It's lack of deep threat. I think Westbrook has more assists than anyone this past decade. Stats aren't everything, but you can't average 10+ for 5 years without good vision. Inconsistent Bball IQ is true though.

Anonymous

If Oubre isn't going to play within the system, just bury him in the second unit even more than he is now. He still has value if we are trying to make the playoffs (which we clearly are if Steph is playing hurt). I don't think they'd make him 6th man, but bring JTA off the bench early. Match Oubre with the reserves more where he can create his own shot if the offense stagnates. Put more high-IQ passers around Wiseman so we can feed him in the right situations.

Anonymous

They need to come to a decision about Oubre and quick. You've missed the trade deadline, you free'd up some cash with with shipping some pieces. Surely the intention is to sign him to an extension. Now maybe Kelly is holding out to get the biggest bag he can fair play to him. If the team wants to play hardball with him then they should cut there loses and bury him in the rotation util the end of the season he'll then find he as significantly less appeal on the open market at seasons end. Otherwise both sides need to get their finger out sign a deal so he can get back to playing in the system and we can see if the play in game is possible for us this season.

Anonymous

this video makes a good point. Oubre has said he won't come of the bench next year. Kerr says he will. So he's DONE. He'll walk this summer. The video also demonstrates that the Front Office's biggest problem is their Arrogance. The whole team just lucked into those titles, seriously. They are fucking everything up because they don't have a plan. It goes on to point out that Steph failed to sign the contract extension. Look for him to be a Laker or somewhere else if them white guys upstairs don't pull their heads out of their asses. https://youtu.be/_cPIL2uRnKg

Anonymous

totally agree with your hezi celtic take. we got no juice man, its not even fun to watch. reminds me of the last kyrie season but with no kyrie lol

Anonymous

I just started watching bball yesterday, but I think this lineup could cook. Hear me out, Mannion at PG /w the 2nd unit. Poole at shooting guard, Paschal at power, Wiseman at center, JTA/Baze at SF. Too many players deferring today against the Heat. Poole looked like he wants to score, but trying to respect his role as a facilitator also, not sure if it's al-natural for him. Might take awhile to happen, but Kerr needs to get some bullies out there asap. It looked like everyone just watching Steph/Dray waiting for direction.

Jansen E

Omg you broke me with that comparison just now. I never even thought about that. This must be how OKC fans felt for years. You cant hate the man because of his effort.....but they just arent helping your team. Yikes. I am a very vocal critic of Westbrook. For many reasons. But Ive also been a heavy defender of Oubre. But now rememberring what Ive been saying about Oubre this whole time....makes me sound exactly how OKC fans talk about Westbrook. Yikes. Maybe we really should have let him go on the deadline =/

What I suspect is Every Man For Himself. They can all smell the Clearance Sale at the End of the Season, so padding their stats.
